Ommer Mon
All square after the first leg so can't see anything other than a Cradley progression here. Good luck to Layne Cupitt on his debut for the Heathens. Let's avoid putting any pressure on him. He's still learning the trade. Comfortable win for Cradley 52-38 with Cleggy Ash and Luke doing most of the damage as usual. I trust we'll all be recording the British Final to watch afterwards! bruno
Not sure why they are running against the British final, I suppose it's a case of having to. Because it's Buxton and the cup il be having a glass of wine and Chinese and watching the British final. I wonder how it affects the crowd level. Shame we have to choose. They again if the weathers anything like it is at the download festival it'll be off anyway
pete cc
I get the feeling that not a lot of people are bothered with this fixture. Cradley will win, Buxton will be a team of guests because of injury & other reasons. That may make them stronger? I'm going.(weather permitting). Ommer Mon
With Rider Replacement in operation and Bradley Andrews at number 8 I hope he will get a ride or two if we are running away with it. Can't see anything other than a confortable Cradley win. Ellis Perks guests for the Hitmen but I don't think he's been round Monmore yet so may take a couple of rides to dial in fully. I've set the British Final to record and Belgium v Italy can take a running jump. Come on you Heathens!

Jayne
Didn't Ollie Greenwood get a knock yesterday? Yes he did, Nathan Greaves guests tonight. Ollie is out with concussion.
Ommer Mon
Didn't Ollie Greenwood get a knock yesterday? As Speedibee says, he came down in his second ride and got clattered by a following rider. That's a shame as he is always good value and an entertaining visitor. Hope he will get well soon. Its 'orrible when the injuries keep mounting up. Yes he did, Nathan Greaves guests tonight. Ollie is out with concussion. Thanks Jayne Excellent choice and sure to go well. martin_t
Well Cradley made a meal of that.Allowing for mechanical issues....11 last places is appalling.
secsy1
Buxton had to make team changes due to extenuating circumstances, Cradley made them to win and struggled at home. Well done to Buxton credit where it is deserved.

pete cc
At least most of our riders had a good look at the track. Pity it was face down for a lot of them.
TurnTwo
What is up with cradley? Everything seems to be on the downward spiral for them. I fear that if not successful this year your promo trio will pull the plug

Sings4Speedway
I would take the approach that it was a bad night at the office and you still got away with it. You won't have many nights at home where Morris has a stinker and Chessell gets 2 x NF. Yes it was a Buxton team with 2 guests & 4 reserves and had Blacklock been available it might have been very different? But you got away with it so it can be put behind you and look forward to the next round.

I lasted six races before deciding to go home. The track was poor, the 'racing' was appalling...when a bloke can forget to turn his fuel on,give the oppostion half a lap lead and STILL finish second!!!.Morris's stinker was down to mechanical problems and Chessell's 2xNF was due to him falling off, something I hoped he was cured of this year. Sings4Speedway
Chessell (love him or loathe him) is a trier and does have the habit of falling when pushing too hard which was probably due to the fact that things were going belly up early on but he should know better. Morris has those mechanical gremlins out the way now and in the end it didn't cost you. The Cradley team is built very top heavy and is hugely reliant on the top 3 all scoring big. When that doesn't happen at least one other needs to step up and Basford came through for you. It does sound like an awful advert for NL speedway though and perhaps fortunately only a small crowd were there to witness it.
