Tsunami
Poor result. We should have had the firepower to get 3 or 4 points. These results, like Sheffield no points, could prove costly to our Play off chances. Interesting that was Ryes 6th home meeting with no away meetings yet. You're right Dave that is in my opinion minimum 3 points lost tonight, 3 at Edinburgh, minimum 1 at Glasgow and Sheffield and out of the League Cup also.  MK has improved and doing what we were hoping the last few meetings but has had a few very poor ones also VP is a bit hot and cold RL/SW although getting points are losing out in heats 13 and 15 a lot recently LR has had 2 terrible meetings but is doing a lot better than I expected at the start of the season LL I won't go on about him as may upset a few but I think most know my opinion DP is nowhere near current premier league status and must be replaced  Think the team needs a kick up the backside or I can see a very disappointing season ahead coming up as we're already out of the League Cup and as Dave has said current form could prove costly in qualification for the play offs. At this moment in 4 heats we are riding with 3 riders and this must be stopped immediately. I had high hopes for this team pre Edinburgh but since there are a few worrying signs starting to develop. It shows if even Dave is commenting on poor form as he is as loyal as they come to the team and the riders. Over to you George.
cityrebel
I thought I paid for 15 heats tonight, not 15 reruns and 15 tractor breaks!

Over to you George.  We've only ridden 2 home matches in the league and already been to Glasgow, Sheffield and Edinburgh, probably 3 of the hardest away fixtures and we got at least 40 at all three which home fans reckon were their most entertaining matches of the season in each case. We'll climb up the table in due course once we get more home matches in. The team hasn't yet fired all on the same night but in a play-off situation I'd back us to have won over 2 legs in any of those away matches with a full team which I reckon we'll have come the play-offs. Keep the faith.
Shadders
Poor result. We should have had the firepower to get 3 or 4 points. These results, like Sheffield no points, could prove costly to our Play off chances. Interesting that was Ryes 6th home meeting with no away meetings yet. Both away meetings at Sheffield & Peterborough were victims of rain offs I predicted a 8-10 point away win before the meeting and was fearful when I saw Lambert take care of Kennett in heat 1, but the stop start nature of the meeting (mainly due to Newcastles impatience at the gate) and poor return from the Diamonds reserves didn't do them any favours. An inspired heat 14 by Lanham & Lykke put the seal on a surprise, but welcome win. Kennett back to his best and trump card Kasper at reserve were the difference. Can't remember the last time I saw a rider have 6 bonus points in a meeting. Leigh Lanham with a useful return, but it was Cam Heeps turn to have an off night. Wasn't expecting it to be as dramatic as the Berwick meeting, but the numerous restarts didn't help with the flow of the meeting.  Steady drizzle from about heat 6, but the rain became heavier as we pulled away from the car park 15 minutes after the meeting had ended.  Someone said Lambert rode around the tapes while heading to the start of heat one, an exclusion under the new rules. Anyone else notice that? Edited June 12, 2016 by Shads
ruffdiamond
I thought I paid for 15 heats tonight, not 15 reruns and 15 tractor breaks! well thats looks like you got extra, so good value i'd say  ACC, agree with 'most' of what you say, but a good kick up the backside wouldn't harm either,,,  NJC71, spot on post and, agree over 2 legs think we would take some stopping,,,
robbieblackadder fan club
I can accept Lewis having a couple of bad meetings as he has been very good up to the last couple of meetings. What I can't accept is the continuation of a rider who is not anywhere near premier league standard - it is honestly bewildering why!!!! Â Understand where you are coming from AC but it is probably a bit harsh, the whole idea of having British reserves was to bring them on for the better of the sport and to give young riders more of a chance , if you look at the last few results if the rest of the team had ridden anywhere near their averages we would have won, the pressure should not be on Danny to perform he should be allowed to develop also the constant chopping and changing of the side with guests cant be helping the other riders develop on track relationships, if you look at the guests although we are grateful for them helping out I don't think if my memory serves one of them has scored anywhere near that of the rider they are replacing. The problems of the team lie elsewhere and lets not heap to much pressure on a young lad making his way in the sport in his first full year of premier speedway, I think he has shown enough in glimpses to know he will be okay given time
ruffdiamond
A no its early days and we might've/should've had more points on the road, but 6 so far is more than previous years and, only Somerset and P'boro have more away points thus far,,,

Getting ziltch from every ride and being tailed off wont develop him any. Hes not getting anywhere near other number 7's that is the problem recently and probably doing him more harm than good after a decent first few meetings. We need to do something at reserve though as when LR has a poor meeting we are being crucified ponts wise.
Shadders
Little bit of gossip. I heard Robert Lamberts mother was ejected from the pits mid meeting. By whom, or for what I've no idea.
waco
Would that account Shads ,for his winning streak coming to an end in the later stages of the meeting ??
royal
He did look totally unbeatable until then, so maybe ! Another enjoyable meeting for me, despite the holdups. Didnt really expect a win so for me that was a bonus, and considering the chavball was on the telly, a half decent crowd. A couple of riders were off colour, be good to see them all fire at the same time, but heyho. For me though, speedway has become enjoyable again, and although I am an hour and a half away, and live closer to Ippo, me and the other half wouldnt go anywhere else for the weekly fix. Onwards and upwards !

Yes and about time too - was at Leicester a few weeks ago and many people were asking why she was in the pits then - she was also seen in the pits at Wolverhampton in the tv match - always thought only mechanics were allowed in the pits during racing - obviously thinks the rule does not apply to her
