i seem to remember Kus getting 14 whilst top scoring at Rye with Berwick. :t:

EDIT I think it was with Redcar last year, not Berwick.

Lets hope so, as I think he scored well at Glasgow last year but was crap, correction, below par this year. Same can be said of Edinburgh and then a week or two later was flying at Fisher's testimonial.

Fingers crossed.

no,,, its this Saturday ;)

Rockets must make the best use of their present extra strenght in having rider replacement for Karger ..Cant wait to see another exciting meeting , Featuring the best rider from the back in the league our flying Dane Kasper...I think realistically this will go to the wire...

The weather is looking at bit uncertain at the moment. With England playing, maybe a Len silver type call off is on the cards!

I don't think this promotion have the same mentality.

i'm surprised they didn't bring the start time forward by a few hours, just like Len did. There was a decent turn out for a Saturday afternoon meeting.

That was an option I'm surprised they didn't take up

In 2010 a meeting was brought forward to 2pm on a Saturday to avoid a World Cup clash, England v USA. By strange coincidence the opponents were Newcastle.

Meeting starts at 5.30-6pm, finishes prior to the football kick off and the Rye bar makes a killing from showing the game. Although having a pub a stones throw away may be the reason for this not being done in fairness.

The long bar has been demolished. The top bar is inadequate.

Personally will prefer to watch the high lights of the football at 10-35 pm on BBC 1,,, Speedway is more important to me...
