Arson fire
He is listed in Bears' regular line-up, logged with referee and SCB/BSPA for tomorrow night. This is all just forum-talk. and after tomorrow??
slyfox
Your clutching at straws if your trying to use that to discredit Rob, theres .2 difference and we all know Ben is very good around Rye , his PL average for the season is higher than Lykke.Robs away average is better and that includes an exclusion, but as i said hardly relevant. Junior Not trying to discredit Rob. Think he is a far better rider than when he last rode for us. Just think we should stick with Simon at the moment. Would have been great if we could have had him as the 3 point reserved but as he has a PL average it was not allowed. and after tomorrow?? Think the red tape and the 7 day rule regarding replacing 7 point assessed riders has got in the way. So now its watch this space till at least Friday. Think the red tape and the 7 day rule regarding replacing 7 point assessed riders has got in the way. So now its watch this space till at least Friday. To be fair so it should. A rider gets a new average 7 days after the last qualifying meeting. From that day he is on the new average.

slyfox
Can i just clarify has the rider actually been released - i can't see any report Confirmed in The Middlesbrough Gazette this morning that Bukhave is leaving after tonight's meeting against Somerset. Brian and Jiittendra both thank him for his efforts but unfortunately he has not lived up to his 7 point average. His replacement not named yet. SCB
Nielsen has moved his average up from 4.38 to 4.53 this season so I would not get rid of him. Don't look at rolling averages, http://speedway-stats.co.uk/Team/16 Simon Nielsen has averaged 3.88 this season.
slyfox
Don't look at rolling averages, http://speedway-stats.co.uk/Team/16 Simon Nielsen has averaged 3.88 this season. Think that's an independent stats site, they quote 3.88 is his NBCMA average they also quote his CMA as 4.75 for 7 meetings, not sure exactly what the initials mean, I can only assume it means with and without bonus points. However up to 26th May on "Bears Talk" Boothers the Bears statistician has him as 4.87 with bonus points and 4.00 without bonus points. As bonus points count when the BSPA/SCB calculate a riders average you should use the higher figure when looking at riders for comparison. Therefore on that basis he has moved up from the end of last season at 4.38 ( BSPA/SCB with bonus points) to 4.75 for 7 matches this season (with bonus points if you use your speedway stats site). Which is also above his rolling BSPA/SCB average of 4.53 to 1st June. Therefore I think he is having a better start to the season than he finished last season. Comet Dan
Bonus points don't count towards the official SCB Greensheet average of a rider. Edited June 9, 2016 by Comet Dan

northyorksbear
Considering I don't know him, I dunno ^_^ That's why I asked Sorry - the point I was making with a slightly curt reply was that any answer is going to be totally subjective, simple answer is no-one knows if "he will be any good" so your thoughts are just as valid as anyone elses. He has shown up well in international meetings abroad, but how will he go on different track around PL ????? He has to be an improvement on what we had
Alan_Jones
He was a 4 point rider with a 7 point average in his brief spell with Edinburgh in 2010.

northyorksbear
He was a 4 point rider with a 7 point average in his brief spell with Edinburgh in 2010. Well he is replacing a 1.5 rider with a 7 point (now 5) average - so that's a potential improvement already
CaptainAudi
He was a 4 point rider with a 7 point average in his brief spell with Edinburgh in 2010. Was still pretty raw then, looks a much better rider now and I'm actually gutted he didn't complete enough meetings to become an edinburgh asset/gain an average, could see potential In him at the time... lucifer sam
Wasn't he part of the great Edinburgh swindle of 2010, when they kept on replacing 7.00 riders with another one, so that Kalle could stay at reserve, in their dodgy-burger assisted Super team? All the best Rob Edited June 10, 2016 by lucifer sam
hagonshocker
Steadily improved rider since 2010 no world beater but compared to poor Bukhave he will be! A steady average of 6.50 should be attainable if he brings decent kit over and tbf if there's one thing most Germans bring now is a reasonable amount of professionalism.
