Bash
I would like to see the whole team out there making use of the track time after a meeting, seeing as we seem to have a meeting every two weeks.
Baldyman
Me and fueltaps was still there when the dirt was scraped off after the meeting and you could then see how much or little dirt there actually is. Now I'm not a track expert to say if it was a lot or not, but I would definitely say it wasn't too much.
Pete Greenwood
Oh I didn't like it much..such a strange place to watch speedway but probably brilliant for bangers, I will find out Saturday. I'm not sure bash but maybe the pugwash has something to do with ipswich speedway??? Or maybe a parent of a rider??? you are right badlyman I am something to do with Ipswich , I've enjoyed watching the speedway team for a good few years as a supporter , yes maybe a parent but the rider would be 45 lol . So I take it that if a supporter is not slagging their team of they must be an insider HAHAHA . I prefer to encourage and give benifit of doubt ,life is to short .Good meeting though you must agree ? Or not ? . Bloody hell what must I be now .lol
Bailays Hat
It was a decent meeting, good crowd, lots of scottish nutters around to add to the atmosphere. I think I met paulco, not sure he had a whistle and a wicked laugh. Another poorly prepared track despite that horrible deep shale being clearly removed. Season over for us now. Â Hopefully next season will be different. I just want a competitive team, team suits that are the same so that my club does not look stupid on track and a track properly prepared for racing.

Three of the Rockets side were at the track testing yesterday. Do any of the Ipswich lads use the track for practice during the week? Are they allowed access to the stadium?
jenga
I think Glasgow supporters know Cookie better than you. my half eaten cucumber in my fridge knows more about craig cook than morrissey fan .. and indeed speedway itself .
Reviresco
my half eaten cucumber in my fridge knows more about craig cook than morrissey fan .. and indeed speedway itself .What is the half left in the fridge going to be used for J? For the person who thought that Paulco was using a whistle and had a distinctive laugh, you may be right, but you may be wrong too. I dropped, the man himself off at his hotel after the meeting last night, alongside the eccentric and hugely lovable Willie, who said some magnificent, emotion jerking things about Billy Sanders - thank you so much Willie, from the bottom of my heart.  For Captain Pugwash, do I know you sir, as you may be one of the "inner sanctum" that I do know, either, formerly "just a fan", or a market researcher I met in the EE Store in Ipswich recently? Baldyman
That Willie was a right character wasn't he. Thanks for the drink Paulco, also another very nice chap. It was definitely an interesting meeting that's for sure.

With the restrictions of stadium use the only testing they can do is after the meetings, which is why it's strange none of them seem to bother and very poor attitude IMO. They should be at least showing us they are trying to sort things out instead of packing up their vans and going home.

Bash
They usually stop by 10pm. There are junior riders going round so there is nothing to stop the main team riders.
2ndbendbeerhut
Saturday match was over by 9.15, so 45 mins before curfew... Â Last night finished about 9.30... You have arrived at conclusions by yourself which may not be justified . I for one would like to know the answer's to the questions you pose as I'm sure many supporters would . I therefore ask you to go and ask your questions of the riders themselves at the next Witches meeting you travel to , ( maybe today's ) and report back on this forum what they say by name so we all know ! Thank you Bash .
Bash
If you would like to know the answers to the questions why don't you ask the riders yourself instead of getting it from someone else, but then you think everything is rosy at Ipswich. Now, can I ask you why you thought it was a good and exciting meeting as we all see things differently. Thank you in advance Mr Mrs or miss pugwash. In answer to bash question I would imagine not many riders practiced last night so they could get back to their workshops to start stripping or changing parts ready for the long trip tomorrow. Bash
Fair enough on the last sentence Baldy, I understand that but we don't have meetings the next day after every home meeting.
Baldyman
You are most correct. And there is nothing worse than watching your team lose yet again or a rider score not a lot yet again to not seeing them try something after a meeting. One thing I will say though is you couldn't have said that about Ritchings, he was out after every meeting.
Bash
Totally agree about Ritchings, Ollie was probably a bit battered after last night as well.
Reviresco
Well, in my humble opinion, that was as dire a speedway meeting as I have witnessed since 1969 and at Foxhall since 1975. Only someone from the Foxhall "inner sanctum" could come on here and defend that. Captain Pugwash, if you are not on a massive wind up, you are part of the inner sanctum and I would suggest that you are either a person who started off as an ordinary fan on the terraces, and has "progressed" to being part of the "inner sanctum", or you are the person I met doing a market research survey in the EU Store a couple of Saturday's ago. Â If the person who thought that they met Paulco as he had a whistle and a wicked laugh, you might be wrong, as I met Paulco and his offsides, Willie, along with Bruv of Bruv and Baldy (now "Bluey"?), in a virtually empty bar after the meeting. Â I have said it before, and I will say it again, why do Ipswich get this so wrong eh
