Paul
May well be making the trip across the sea to foreign lands to watch the IOW v Kent, must find my passport. Kent were successful in their last trip earlier in the season but the IOW have a few meetings at home now and I think this will be a closer affair than Kent's last visit. My prediction Kent by 4 points.
teaboy279
I was getting ahead of myself then, thinking you had got confused. Lol I agree though in essence Jacobs Cockle smart and Baseby are 4 heat leaders. Dugard has looked quick everywhere I have seen him this year and the reserves have come on leaps and bounds. With tonight NT and tomorrow in the KOC both effectively dead rubbers it gives young Jack Thomas a couple of meetings to settle into the main body of the team. Think the Warriors will keep it tight and will certainly be pushing the 10 meeting unbeaten streak.
crazysue
Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile number. Thanks
Bryn
Here's an update, via home team manager Neil Vatcher on injured Wight Warrior Mark Baseby, ruled out of action on medical grounds after a horrendous back straight crash on the first lap involving him and Danny Ayres in the second attempt to run heat 3 of last night's cup clash. That news is that, believe it or not, he's gone to work! He has got a sore coccyx though (NO jokes please about a cushion being handy for him to sit on!) and a measure of whiplash. He's a tough Warrior for sure!
