Panthers Vs Tigers 10/6/16

Disappointed Glasgow never got a point tonight having been ahead earlier in the meeting. Superb return from Howarth less so some others. Wonder if Danny has picked up an injury having gone well but not appearing after ht9.

I think now Cook has his engines sorted by changing tuner he can just turn up and piss it like Hans Andersen used to..it looked easy for him..Bjerre impressed me..Lambert-legend, Holub showed promise..NJB what was going on?..maybe bring your danish engine!..and MPT was good and got a great reception as he is still loved here..not overly impressed with Glasgow on paper or on track and think on another day we could smash them..reserves looked pretty good though...some good ding dongs with Lambo and Garcia...I really don't see the logic getting rid of Barker for Bach..I know who I'd rather have and I think they have dropped a clanger.

As previous posters have said first half of the meeting was poor but some great racing towards the end. One thing I noticied from sitting right by the start line, was what a waste of time the 2nd chalk line by the tapes is- one rider all night was starting with his front wheel way behind the other riders. not once did the start marshall make any attempt to change this. As this was a home rider, it probably makes sense !! Although to be fair to Simon Lambert apart from his 1st ride when I thought he moved early- he remained still in his other riders(apart from the race when his clutch dragged him through the tapes)

I don't think it was his clutch at all. I think he knew he had engine troubles and wouldn't last the race and drove into the tapes on purpose to give himself an opportunity in the rerun, albeit 15 meters back - and it very nearly paid off! Smart thinking from the lad

Clutch cable problem, I spoke to his dad afterwards

Good match and a good result, but it certainly wasn't easy.

Just need to get NBJ bikes going, he looked well under power again last night.

Anders a top rider in Poland at the moment so won't commit to England I don't think and agree with hansfan, once his bikes are sorted busk will come good

he gated alright and tried everything but coming of turn 2 his bikes were doing nothing ,no matter how hard he tried rode the socks of them for nothing ,if your machinery ain't fast round showground you get found out , he's a class act

Ulrich had engine trouble few meetings a go (reason he was struggling) after sending them for servicing they came back bags of poop so they had to go back again , prob NBJ has had same trouble

Another good evenings entertainment. There seems to be some passion in the team since Cookie arrived. It certainly helps to have a number one that you know is going to bang in the points. A good choice of guests with excellent performances from Bjerre and MPT. Lambert giving everything all night as he always does. Holy is an improvement at 7. A little worried about NBJ who was riding wide all night but hopefully will get his confidence back. Well done to all Panthers.
