SCB
The difference being that Rosco later admitted he 'bent the rules to Coventry's advantage'!! (Don't like to use the word 'cheated'!!) :-) Except he did not. The rules were you could use your number 8 at any time for any rider for any reason. robert72
I can't believe we are still discussing Rohan Tungates shoulder a week after the event If rules can be bent at bit they will be and knowing how well Doyley goes round here why wouldn't they give him an extra outing Any manager would do the same, didn't he make a wrong decision the Thursday before when the lions won at the abbey. I didn't see many whinging when Brady Kurtz (guest ) bagged a load to win us the fixture. What goes round comes round, that's life Get over it and move on Shirl There is 7 days in a week it was a speedy recovery in 5 days. Brady Kurtz was brought in for a banned rider through no fault of Leicester Seeing tungate on Saturday made me suspect he could of rode but R/R using Doyle ect was better to scrape a win. Steve0
Yet when Coventry turned up at Swindon in 2010 without Pawlicki and suing our number 8 (rules were you could use your number 8 in place of any rider at any time) Swindon kicked off and it played a huge part in the winter of 2010/2011 and ultimately Sandhu selling Brandon. Thats caused issue now 6 years later, so a week for a bit of moaning about Swindon doing it is nothing! What has that to do with Rohan's injury? It was 6 years ago (not Rohan's injury ) - let it go! I agree it's not right but my point was that any manager would have done the same. It was his call, if you are the manager you will do anything you can to win a meeting and if that means bending the rules a bit where you can you will. Rosco is no shrinking violet and to know that his team lost at home to the leagues bottom team he was never going to let the lions do the double over them. It was a massive result for the lions at Swindon.Just need to get all the team performing at the same time Shirl
Steve Shovlar
So Tungate was only injured for Swindon at Leicester, just as I thought. The points gained from hid rr rides should be deducted from the scoreline. Only fair course of action.

Steve Shovlar
Well considering he hasnt missed a meeting other than the one where he wasnt wanted by Swindon, there cant be much wrong. Must have spent the w/e in Poole. It has long been rumoured that the sea-air down there has magical healing powers or so Fat Maude believes!
