My Top 20

Recommended Posts

Ooooh. I appreciate that you will have seen Romance ride more than I have over the past seasons but I think that is a bit disingenuous SB.

I watched him closely during the Aussie season and noted a change in style, approach and confidence which may have been brought on by knowing that he wasn't coming back to the UK to ride on a terrible home track like Foxhall, but a proper speedway track at the OTA. I saw him "live" at Swindon last week when they beat Poole convincingly and he was simply sensational. Also, I saw him "live" when Somerset beat Rye House away and again he was sensational, particularly after a first heat crash when trying to pass Robbo on the outside off turn four.

Credit where credit is due. Rohan has been fantastic this season since he has sorted out his machinery and support crew and gave up on riding regularly in Poland.

I think Rohan has been a bit harshly critisied by many Witches fans.

Yes he may not have a style that naturally endears itself to Foxhall particularly when chasing an opponent but he has consistently upped his average year on year and more still this year with a home track more suited to him.

I think there could be more to come as well. IMO he could make a big breakthrough where others with percieved greater talent fail to....

Good luck to I say.
