workyboy
Great meeting last night. Super pleased for Adam Royn on, getting back to his best. If Rasmus is not fit for next week, can we please put Campton at 2 and get him out of Hansens way. Shocking riding, when Kenneth was visibly faster.
lewy
Not a good show by the devils sure we would have made a better effort if we had our normal 1-7 well done worky

It would have been closer for sure.
jenga
Kurtz would have scored more than Barker, Holder more than Kus and Nielsen more than Wilkinson. It would have been closer for sure. you seem to be discrediting the plymouth guests . barker was like a barker of old, always in the hunt. his battle with adam was brilliant , went right down to the finish. kus was in the action most of the time and deserved more for his efforts . you can NEVER knock wilko for any of his riding , he tries ALL the time for his team and guest bookings and before you say ,roynon is poor . adam is a different rider in the last couple of weeks at workington . i think the last time holder was here, he ran 4 second places . was on the pace, but dont think he won any races . kurtz would have had to get jump starts to beat the worky top 3 . oh , sorry . thats what he does on a regular bases . so all in all the points scored by ALL riders dont seem to fit the performance they put in at a meeting . workington were pretty good and plymouth that shade slower. but unfortunately, the points dont always show the riders performance .. anyhow , if it was a meeting decided on aggregate. plymouth would have come away victors as they would have shaved it by 1 point. so its not all doom and gloom from last night . at least plymouth still have speedway . enjoy the devils while you can . did you enjoy the meeting last night ? topaz325
Plymouth select team kept the scores quite close until heat 11 then the Comets eased away for a comfortable win, not too many notable races but heat 11 was the stand out one with Vissing, Roynon and Barker having a great scrap with Roynon just edging out Barker on the line but it was very close!! A very accomplished 15pt max for Ricky Wells who was backed up well by Vissing, Hansen and a rejuvenated Adam Roynon.
Former devil
Kurtz would have scored more than Barker, Holder more than Kus and Nielsen more It would have been closer for sure. In theory maybe but nothing is guaranteed in speedway as we all know so little point making comparisons imo Edited June 5, 2016 by Former devil

Is this the same Ben Barker who has dropped a point and a half off his average since the beginning of 2015, has just been dumped by Glasgow, managed to beat only Williamson and Campton and never got near Vissing, Wells & Hansen and whose bikes turned up about 30 minutes before the start ? Kurtz is a genuine PL no 1 (and if we are talking jumping starts I suggest you read the updates from the meeting because he's not the only rider that does it) something that Barker (at the moment) most certainly is not. Holder scored 9+1 from 6. Kus 5 from 4 (taking out the tactical ride). Not as good. Stefan Nielsen is in the best form of his career. I take Scarra's point but a full strength Plymouth would, unquestionably, have been stronger. As to the meeting, it wasn't brilliant but it wasn't a bad one either and its fair to suggest that with rare exceptions I always enjoy my visits to Workington. jenga
i know we have our own tape dodger in ricky. but its speedway and we just have to get on with it and race against the team that turns up on the day .

Second bit, true First bit - If I am honest (and I know my pal First Bend Clive from Plymouth disagrees) I thought Wells just dropped the clutch at the right time. No rolling, no anticipation, just a very good gating technique.
