speedcrazy
It was nice to travel and see a smooth track for a change instead of the moto x tracks on my last couple of away tracks, namely Poole and Lakeside, just need to say a big thanks and well done to Lewis Bridger who I thought rode hard and tried for every point, same goes for Lewis Kerr.
Haza
Changes are most definitely needed if we have any ambitions of a play off place Huckenbeck and Troy need replacing Simon Lambert needs to be used to maximum effect when his Pboro comintment allow . Who could we bring in that's the difficult one but all I no is we won't make the play offs with the side we have .
g13webb
All this talk about legality of the riders and the position they were riding are just issues created by a stupid rule book. Nobody knows what the rules actually are. Some teams have squads of riders whereas other teams only have the minimum 7. There will always be problems till the all teams are reading from the same hymn sheet. Which ever way it was looked at we fielded too many Draft riders, and Wolves needed too many replacements. As far as the purest goes this was a speedway meeting between two scratch teams, that turned out pretty good. We had another match that went to the last heat, and again Lambert and Niels took the spoils. Both teams done OK, with the Stars being deserving winners. I think if both teams were at full strength the scores would have been similar. Apart from Niels heat one fall there were no hold ups He later proved he had no ill effects scoring 4 race wins, I can't see any reason to be disheartened.... Another decent meeting........ semion
If Batch is struggling for fitness, then maybe he should be stood down until such time that he is fit. He cannot be doing himself any favours at the moment, nor the Club. The team would be better with R/R rather than the odd point here and there that he is coming up with. Im sure the guys wants to be out there earning Money but there is no 'I' In Team.
Haza
Think I'd be in contact with Bech now he's left Wolves would be a better bet than Huckenbeck
Trees
How can Batch get to race fitness if he doesn't race, we know what he can do round Lynn, give him an inch eh ..... Strange then that 'Updates' were reporting a hole on bends 3-4!! How can Batch get to race fitness if he doesn't race, we know what he can do round Lynn, give him an inch eh ..... He's got issues at home hasn't he? When I first read that, I thought it said 'tissues' - and assumed he was upset at having to leave?! g13webb
Going back to last night's track, whatever the problem with the track, in heat 1 it was soon sorted and didn't show again all night. Looking back I was so impressed with Lewis Rose in heat 14. Bridger threw the sink at him in an effort to get by. Some will say he was excessive, it was an accident waiting to happen. by Lewis stuck to his ground and would not be moved. a truly brilliant ride. He seems to be improving with every week. Heart was in the mouth when Niels came off. It looked an awkward fall. had he withdrawn from the meeting we would have been like Lambs to the slaughter. Thankfully, he was soon back, and normal service was resumed. Both Lamberts, Robert and Simon were on the pace and scored well, Mads rode much better than his points suggest, and Batch is improving slowly. Seems to have more speed now but struggles on the corners. No doubt it will eventually fall into place, but has along way to go. I'm sure he will get back to the rider he was... As for this year, I believe Poole and Belle Vue are nailed on certainties to make the playoffs, Although, Lakeside, Wolves and Swindon are doing well at the moment, I don't feel they are cast iron bets for the top 4. Together with the remaining 3 teams, I feel there are going to be a lot of movement before those final two places are assured....
Star Lady
Not sure where to put this but I guess it will precipitate another rant from Haza and to be honest he will be right Lewi Kerr @LewisKerrRacing 8m 8 minutes ago I've been released by Ipswich. Thanks for the time I had there, speedways a numbers game, looking forward to the next challenge. 1 retweet0 likes Reply Retweet 1 Like More No doubt Tipswitch will sign another untried foreigner. g13webb
You think Swindon are doing well at the moment?? I admit they slipped up last night, but they have points on the board. There won't be many teams go to Belle Vue and win, so its not all bad. I have always thought they weren't that strong, but that can be said about a lot of teams, us included.... Should be in the mix for the minor places.....

Still they never had any class down there in Suffolk absolutely unbelievable we switch race night and lose Lewis only for him to now only now to be free Thursday's - only in speedway. If I was Lewis I'd do to Lakeside what Ipswich has done to him and dump the hammers and come back home to Kings Lynn .

BWitcher
so it's ok for a club to dump a rider but not the other way round ? I don't make the rules, but if a rider refuses to ride for you he is with holding his services and that is usually a 28 day ban.
