King's Lynn V Wolverhampton 2/6/16 7.30pm

At least all our rider's tonight are squad members and not doing to bad with 3 EDR's

But still illegal. You can't have a guest for a second string (which Busk-Jakobsen is now) so it should be r/r.

Already explained, Rose has a new average and has moved into the #2 or #4 positions hence Simon Lambert is riding at #7

Now when the debate about the rules piques my interest more than the scores themselves the sport really is on a steep downward slope :nono::cry:

Well done to King's Lynn tonight. Great to see Rose have such a good night in the main body of the team. Batchelor still must be a concern.

I think Stevebrum might have jinxed Lindgren. He's not scored double figures since our debate 😉

Excellent against the odds point , well done Wolves.

How many meetings till a certain Pole gets single figures?? Next week probably.

He got a full 15pt Max on our recent visit to King's Lynn.

I'm not confident that we will win at Wolves on Monday although he's not my biggest worry.

 against the odds my a$$ Shovlar #2

Many believed Wolves were in this with us tracking 3 EDR's & Batchelor. You were leading up to heat 7 and only ever 2 behind up to the last race.

Of course it was against the odds, stop being silly. Bridger and rr instead of Jacob and bech you really think on paper made us stronger.???

I'll have had whatever you were smoking before the result.

Ok, maths time

Away averages

Thorsell 5.67

Bech 4.00

Howarth 5.33

=15.00

Guests

R/R 5

Bridger 7 (RR scores removed)

Kerr 8 (RR scores removed)

=20

So a +5 over your missing riders = improvement does it not. Certainly wouldn't have seen Bech outscore Bridger and Howarth outscore Kerr. Thorsell would have bettered 5 but not sure he'd of got 11 to have outscored tonight's lineup.

Wolverhampton WERE strengthened tonight :t:

Might have , could have, should have.

Nothing is guaranteed, if it was Leicester wouldn't have won at Swindon tonight.

Hopefully you take my point.

You was let down by your boys tonight in Lindgren and Kylmakorpi, not the guests who kept you in the match.

Do you take my point? I do take yours but your missing rider's away stats show you were strengthened yes?

Even on the combined averages for 2016, your 3 missing rider's, rounded up come to 18 points :t:

What Kylmakorpi who top scored you mean?

No one let us down, we got a point on the road so that's a result.

Bizarre comment.

Yes I hear what you are saying and correct on paper.

However using guests is often a lottery and no guarantee of better points return.

You know what he means, scored 8 in his 1st 3 rides then only 2+1 in the next 3

You are an awkward sod sometimes :t:

If no one let you down, how come your team was weakened.

Kylmakorpi wasn't in it if he didn't gate.

If disputing that a rider who top scored when we got an away point makes me 'awkward' then so be it!

I do dispute dodgy posts like that tho!

Really? ?

We were weakened by missing 3 riders.

The riders who rode didn't let me down because we took a point away , it's that easy.

I've watched enough of Kylmakorpi this year to know he will chase if he is in the mood to.

Well done to the Stars. 2 points up going into heat 15 could have ended in tears. Luckily it was Fast Freddie's tears whose bike went pop at the start.

Some excellent racing on a very cold night - is it really June!!!

Rather uncharacteristic awkward looking fall for NIKI in heat 1 - thought were in for a long night, but after that was unbeatable

Lewis Rose rode very well tonight in the top 5 and when he was in the mix defended his place very well. Probably my man of the match.

Batch looks to me like he is struggling for fitness as seemed to be fighting with his bike just to turn left.

Rambo scored well, although faded a little towards the end.

Robert Lambert continues to impress

Mads and Wilko seemed to struggle tonight, but did manage some crucial points between them.

6 point win was a fair result in the end

Agree, Niels showed his class tonight bar his unlucky fall in heat 1 but he was out of shape a couple times in that race and then didn't put a foot wrong all night, but Simon Lambert and Lewis Rose really turned the meeting with that 5-1, Bridger is so hot and cold its unreal, but that's him all over I suppose, Freddie started so well too

really enjoyed it, and took my nephew to his first ever speedway meeting and it looks like speedway has a new fan, so good stuff all round

And, they let us in the pits for a quick look about, really makes a difference to a couple of young kids , fair play to all at Lynn
