Daniel Smith
Patched up GB team far from disgraced and experience will be priceless Absolutely, go as far as say it's a sensational effort. What could they of done with their strongest riders though? Maybe we just underestimated the strength of our youth programme?
salty
Apart from Lambert we got 3 second places - hardly sensational. But good experience.
moomin man 76
Given that Norway were essentially a one rider team (Glenn Moi), the scores recorded by the GB team with the exception of Robert Lambert were no more than par for the course. GB reached 32 points, with Lambert contributing 18 on his own and the rest 14. The experience may prove invaluable, but lets not fool ourselves. The result reveals more about the reliance on one rider and the weakness of one of the opposition teams, than anything about the ability of the rest. Tigerite
Was always going to be a tough ask to qualify without Josh and Adam. Hopefully good experience for Max, Zach and Jack and great stuff from Lambert.
waiheke1
With Ellis and bates you have to think we would have been well in the mix for a spot in the final. Looks like ,unsurprisingly, lambert Fricke and Kurtz a notch above the rest of the field.

arnieg
With Ellis and bates you have to think we would have been well in the mix for a spot in the final. Looks like ,unsurprisingly, lambert Fricke and Kurtz a notch above the rest of the field. From an objective look at the riders eligible the top three U21 nations are easy to spot: Poland, Denmark and Australia. After that I'd say it is pretty close between GB, Sweden and Russia for fourth spot - hardly the basis for some of the running down of team GB on this thread.
Reviresco
Congratulations to Cam on his selection for the squad for the World U21 Team Championship. A reward for his commitment to his sport and his country since arriving in Britain as a 15 year old to race in the NL for Mildenhall in 2011. SteveLyric2
That's the last time for 3 of the young Poles in the U.21s, The Aussie boys are much younger and will still all(?) be eligible for next year I think.
