Shaleshifter
After a surprise but welcome victory today at the Abbey the Pirates are in action on Wednesday with the second visit of the season from the Robins. Swindon were very much second best in the A fixture but will be looking for revenge. Poole will need to up their game after last week's defeat against he Aces. I hope the track is sorted out and produces some decent racing. Also a mention of the nasty fall suffered by Adam Ellis at Blunsden. I hope he has not broken his collar bone and is passed fit to ride. Thoughts?
Crazy robin
Home win by at least 20 points as the Poole whipping boys The Robins struggle at the Motor-cross track Wimborne Road.

For Wednesday's re-match against Swindon the Pirates have booked Steven Worrall to cover for the injured @ellis299

LisaColette
Good replacement! Be interesting to see how he does in 1-5. Best wishes to Ellis, they seemed to imply on twitter that he was going to okay as they said he was going for a xray as a precaution. Gavan
Worrall for Ellis makes Poole stronger so should get 60 easily
LisaColette
Well we got 61 last time without him so should be closer to
Gavan
Well we got 61 last time without him so should be closer to 70 He is a far better rider than Ellis that's a fact so you should get 60 at least
SteveLyric2
Yes the almost 2 point difference in their averages shows that Worrall is clearly the better rider so I look forward to the 60 points tomorrow!!!!!?
LisaColette
But surely if we get 60 with Ellis then we should get 70 with Stevie! Ellis got a paid max in the earlier fixture btw.
hagonshocker
60 plus to Poole eh? Yeah we will see one away win and the Pirates are all cock-a-hoop again shame there isnt a one fingered smiley on here

That was at reserve. There is no way he would have got a max in the main body Has the track been sorted? If not this meeting could go either way as Poole struggled last week at home and Swindon have been okay away Edited May 31, 2016 by mdmc82
LisaColette
Well it is meant to be raining later so that will help! 60 plus to Poole eh? Yeah we will see one away win and the Pirates are all cock-a-hoop again shame there isnt a one fingered smiley on hereGavan started off the 60 score in and pretty sure he isn't a Poole fan! Lol. That was at reserve. There is no way he would have got a max in the main body Has the track been sorted? If not this meeting could go either way as Poole struggled last week at home and Swindon have been okay away But it would have included beating second strings. Yeah we will see one away win and the Pirates are all cock-a-hoop again shame there isnt a one fingered smiley on here My '60 point' comment was merely a tongue-in-cheek reply to Gavan's post. Not sure if Bjarne is riding tomorrow as Holsted have a planned fixture. If he's missing then that'll mean an extra r/r ride for Worrall, Brady and Kyle. Should still be a close meeting with a big half term crowd expected as its Poole's last meeting til 29th June!!!!!! That was at reserve. There is no way he would have got a max in the main body Has the track been sorted? If not this meeting could go either way as Poole struggled last week at home and Swindon have been okay away Adam's average has been gained at reserve, heat leader and 2nd string. Worrall's is purely from the reserve berth. There has been some work done on the track in the few days available since Belle Vue but whether it sorts all the issues we shall have to wait and see. Same for both teams though and Rosco knows much more about the WR track than most other tracks anywhere else!!
