Beowulf
Best meeting I've seen at the Green for a while. Pleased with the win though Kings Lynn deserved a point, taking advantage are of woeful displays by Masters and Howarth. In fairness they could have got more had some fairly strange decisions gone their way and the likes of Batchelor turned up. A bit unfair to say Masters was woeful. He has been a major contributor to our good start so far. I agree Howarth was poor though.
dump that clutch
I can't believe the ref didn't look at the replay after heat 1... FL clearly took NKI out, totally clueless. As for the Masters flyer, incredible anticipation to Dump that Clutch at the exact time the magnets were released, but to the naked eye it was a flyer and everyone bar the ref would have called it back. Lambert looked a bit special last night, fingers crossed he's stepped up a level, it would be great to see him pit his wits at GP level.
mdmc82
Good to see you are quoting scores from 2015 - there was no bigger embarrassment than a certain Pole on that front. Here's something for Coventry & Wolves fans from recently then from euro qualifiers Kaspazak finishes 1st, Kylmakorpi 3rd and Lindgren 12th. Some impressive racing (even you might be impressed 😉)

Agreed, Masters was solid in a heat leader position, far from woeful. As for Howarth, I've never seen him have another good meeting and thought last night would break that duck... I know he's been great for Wolves so far so not knocking him, perhaps I'm a curse! Some seem to be making a lot of a Wolves 'collapse' last night... I don't see it that way, simply the job was done and minds switched of somewhat.
Daniel Smith
2016 stats don't lie (Up to & including 30th June) Freddie Lindgren leads the way in 2016 so far & that's with Kasprzak riding more home fixtures than Fast Freddie
mdmc82
2016 stats don't lie (Up to & including 30th June) Freddie Lindgren leads the way in 2016 so far & that's with Kasprzak riding more home fixtures than Fast Freddie The difference being Kaspazak has ridden all his meetings as a no 1 against other heatleaders whilst Freddie has rode as a 2nd string as well against reserves & 2nd strings . Ellis has had a higher average than either this season but that was achieved as a reserve. Hope this makes sense. Remind me how the 4 or 14 one is doing? The difference being Kaspazak has ridden all his meetings as a no 1 against other heatleaders whilst Freddie has rode as a 2nd string as well against reserves & 2nd strings . It makes sense that Freddie has a higher average riding mostly at number one and doing heat 15's. Hope that gives it better clarity.

Reserve wins heats 2 & 12 against reserves but doesn't score in two other rides - 6 point average. Heat leader does the same and wins two of his heats, against two opposition heat leaders or one with a second string while similarly partnered - 6 point average. Are the achievements really the same? Of course not!

He's rode a third of his meetings against reserves, riding at number 4 so wouldn't say that's most. Remind me how many medals or GPs Lindgren has won. Highest he's ever finished is 8th & won 1 GP. No point just being in it if nothing to show for it 😉 As for the GP series in general as I assume that's what you mean, KK has done very well. He finished 2nd in the world in 2014 getting silver, he's won 3 GPs. Even with KK having a shocking year in the series last year, he still won 8 races like Lindgren over the series. Must have both been poor which is why neither qualified for it this year. Luckily Kaspazak is on track at the moment to be back in it next year 👍🏻 Edited May 31, 2016 by mdmc82

You'd take 7 from 4 for a guy who started the year on 5.8 every time! Not his fault he was thrust into heat 15 unprepared. And that he's riding as a heat leader. The guys havign a great season and if 7 from 5 is one of his worst scores I think it shows! 2016 stats don't lie (Up to & including 30th June) Except they do! Ash Morris has a 10.86 average this year so is better than both. OK his meetings were in the NL. Freddie 8.64 and KK 8.16. 3 of Freddies meetings were at second string too. There naff all between them tbh. Include Freddies 3 guest bookins in 2016 and it's Lindgren 8.13 and KK 8.16 Take into account Freddie had 3 meetings at second string too..... and stats don't lie! It's because if anybody says anything negative about Freddie, a certain poster compares him to KK Yet it's some Bees fans who started comparing KK to Freddie on this thread. And you continue to be like a red rag to a bull over it. KK is way over rated, perhaps Freddie has been too. However I'd take Freddie 100 times over the 3 times sacked KK. Over the past 10 seasons Freddie has been well clear a better performer of the 2, so facts indeed don't lie. Time to move on - no doubt an attempt to drag it back to KK is better awaits. Snoring already at the thought.

Col
This was on the TiVo when I got home. Well done Kings Lynn for getting a point. Lambert impressive despite harsh 2nd & 3rd rides, Iversen equally despite early referee decisions. Hukenbeck improved as he got to grips with conditions, Rose impressive before injury. So have Wolves decided to be a gate n go team? Slicker Monmore than I think I have ever seen. Howarth looked lost without a dirt line, and was clearly trying too hard, I'd put it down to rider error but I've seen allot of Roynon and he was doing the same. Batchelor was awful.
