mikebv
Wow.... Great to see a Speedway race where if all four riders are of similar ability, all four ride into the last bend of the last lap in touch with each other thinking they still have a chance of improving their position... Saw plenty of that today.... Some fantastic racing... All on a warm sunny day... Well done to the track team... Cannot wait for a cooler day/night where the moisture remains in the track longer... Dare I say, when entertainment like today is served up, £17 Speedway is value for money.... Edited May 30, 2016 by mikebv

waiheke1
Is there anywhere this meeting is likely to be available to view? Sounds like a cracking meeting, with a track which could perhaps one day be mentioned in the same context as Hyde Rd.
mdmc82
Shame this wasn't today's televised meeting. Great to hear so many positives amount a meeting 👍🏻 Sounds like another good meeting for Garrity in main body of team. Good news ahead of the British final Edited May 30, 2016 by mdmc82

mdmc82
was close!.....bees not as bad as some predict, but unfortunately not a play off team thoThey did well to keep it that close against a strong team, esp when no Bates and with Harris struggling. Must have been hard for Woryna esp with minute silence before with everything that's sadly happened. A much better fightback from the bees away, I just wish they could do it for a whole meeting. SUPERACE
I'm trying to be charitable but the organisation needs improving. I'm on the back straight, which is grandly titled the 'South Terrace'. The problem is to get to the South Terrace, you have to walk back out of the stadium, and down a side street, around the basketball arena. There could do with being more signposting to let people know how it works. No you dont have to walk out of the stadium you can walk around the stadium grounds
G the Bee
No you dont have to walk out of the stadium you can walk around the stadium grounds That actually shows that the organisation needs tweaking, because it was a Belle Vue steward who gave me those directions. mdmc82
It's been a entertaining weekend of close meetings with good racing between these two teams. They have been very closely matched on track. Credit to Coventry & Belle Vue 👍🏻 It shows it can be done without off track politics ruining it. Ahh right ok, well he told you wrong. I did the wall myself as today was my first time in the south stand.

Trevor
Superb entertainment today, with a great atmosphere. The two people who sat either side of me both said it was their visit to the NNS, and they both loved it, and will be back.
mdmc82
I was hoping Garrity would have put a claim down for the world cup but he wasn't that good to be honest. The only Belle Vue rider he outscored was Jacobs and apart from when Cook thought it was Nicholls passing him in heat 10 he only beat reserves all meeting. Like I said I was hoping for something special but he wasn't as good as last year or the year before, he was involved in the race of the day though. You must have saw different to a lot of others there then as updates says he rode very well to beat Nicholls, Cook, Worrall & Jacobs. A lot of praise for him on Twitter. BWitcher
I must admit it's great to read about the excellent racing being produced, particularly in the case of a day meeting. I really am looking forward to my first visit to the stadium.
OveFundinFan
Shame we didn't get a point but that was absolutely superb. Whoever designed the track should be knighted. Well one of those who had a major part of track design already has an MBE
mdmc82
I'm looking at the bigger picture and only outscoring an edr isn't very good, maybe I expected too much. I think we need riders outscoring Zagar not Jacobs in the world cup but I suppose he's good enough for Coventry. Hopefully he'll do better in the British final. Beating Cook & Nicholls home & away (the riders he will be against in British Final) is impressive. That said I wouldn't expect you to say anything good about him judging by your previous negative posts about anything Coventry
double_O
Biggest defeat of the season coming up How many teams have hammered us by over 60 away from home. Awful side away from home. Totally embarrassing Worst side I've seen away from home. To be honest it's bordering on a joke. Well I see the normal jokers who spout their bile towards the promotion and team are made to look the total idiots they really are. Just who will they venting their anger and hatred at next season when the Bees are no longer in existence? Really enjoyed the meeting, which was only spoilt by the usual piss poor refereeing from Jim Lawrence. Well done to Ashley Morris who put in a great deal of effort and deserved his points and was unlucky with the ef in ht 14 whilst 3rd. Just a shame his Swedish team mate at Wolverhampton was not there to see what trying means!!!! Cant wait to see the World cup on that track. CB252
Let's be honest, none of the Brits put themselves in the shop window today. It's a good race track and all of our boys bar woffinden will be eaten alive in World Cup competition.
Game On
Biggest defeat of the season coming up Looks like I got that wrong, good effort and nearly nicked a point. Shame about the poor start, and if we had made the signing we should of done things would be so different.
