G the Bee
I'm trying to be charitable but the organisation needs improving. I'm on the back straight, which is grandly titled the 'South Terrace'. The problem is to get to the South Terrace, you have to walk back out of the stadium, and down a side street, around the basketball arena. There could do with being more signposting to let people know how it works.
A ORLOV
Seriously? It costs an extra £1 to purchase online?? What kind of thinking is that, it should be the other way round surely? As for today's delays.. once again Belle Vue seem to be doing their utmost to sabotage themselves. They had this at the first meeting, lessons should have been learned and systems put in place. Especially for a Bank Holiday meeting where a bigger crowd is expected. They're shooting themselves in the foot again. Agreed, it would make sense to reduce the pre booked price in order to reduce the need for ticket selling staff and queues. The club are not having to count up and bank the money plus they have an indication of numbers of fans coming so there is a saving.
G the Bee
Not too bad a delay though. Heat one just starting now.

I agree bloody ridiculous. Can't see away fans doing it given the British weather. I guess today was the first really big crowd, opening night apart, so tickets on the day getting their first big test and been found wanting. Why only 3 ticket windows, even Lynn have 4? Very poor forward thinking, you don't have to use them all but at least if they are there you can if needed.

Bees_Man
How many teams have hammered us by over 60 away from home. Awful side away from home.
G the Bee
Bees are so slow. Slow from the gate, slow on the track. Worrall just went from 15 metres and joined his brother for a 5-1 without breaking sweat.

Bees_Man
Worst side I've seen away from home. To be honest it's bordering on a joke.

It's no good getting the big things right (which they have now) if the little things let you down. It won't bother the regulars, but those picky folk who come along to see what it's all about.. won't take much to put them off unfortunately. G the Bee
Yep. Genius decision by Havvy. Great venue though. When riders have been here a few times and get dialled in, it'll only get better.
kingbee
Jason Garrity taking a tactical ride. LOL. Gary Havelock has lost the plot. Coventry have Krzysztof Kasprzak and Chris Harris out in Heat 06.good job he didn't put it on Harris
mdmc82
Congratulations to Belle Vue on the win 👍🏻 Shame we didn't take a point in the end but 8point loss could have been worse esp when missing Bates & with Harris having a poor meeting. Might stand more chance next time. This bees team don't look great on the road but at least they fought back in the 2nd half Good to here lots of positives about the stadium and racing. G the Bee
KK was a class apart tonight after heat 1. Bees unlucky to miss out on a point. There was nothing in it after heat 6. Nicholls is talking about no home track advantage on mic and whilst I take his point, it was only home track knowledge that won this meeting for the Aces. Once all the Bees had a heat or two on the track we were more than a match for them.

SCB
Other than the ticketing issues mentioned above that was brilliant speedway in a smashing stadium.
emilali
First things first, the ticketing system is a shambles and needs sorting asap. Aside from that, what a tremendous speedway meeting. The track is a great size and shape and really produced some great racing, Kk being the highlight with Garrity close behind. Will definitely be back 👍.
CB252
Shame we didn't get a point but that was absolutely superb. Whoever designed the track should be knighted. Makes me even sadder at the Bees impending doom.
