Cliffeboy
Great signing for Plymouth, don`t know for sure, but if Brady had wanted to do Prem at the beginning of the season i reckon he would still be at Somerset. If he can`t put bums on seats there they all want shooting, so come on Plymouth get behind your team. All the very best young man.
screm
Cracking looking team, might just be a dark horse for a play off spot. Lets hope the work that the Plymouth promotion have done in putting the team together is rewarded at the turnstiles.
coomie
My mind is moving forward to the pair,if everyone stays fit this year may be the best yet, guys give him time to learn the SBA ,small tracks were his problem but given time this may make Brady a more complete rider, not keen on him in a Plymouth bib but it happens so best of luck to him but not scoring well at the OTA! RebelDan
It's an admission that Brady should never have left Somerset  He could have kept his confidence high whilst adjusting to life in the EL- wouldn't be surprised to see him back at the OTA next season.
romans lovechild
Good signing for Plymouth, but shows a complete lack of ambition from Brady to return to the Premier League a few months into the start of the season. Â I understand he hasn't been massively impressive for Poole and I wonder just how much the Darcy Ward accident is effecting him after his form tailed off at the end of last year too. Hope he manages to turn it round as he promised so much whilst riding for Somerset. his form didnt tail off that much after the darcy ward accident did it, only went and won the national title in aussie.

Najjer
Crap post you don't have a clue what you are on about!! Care to explain how? his form didnt tail off that much after the darcy ward accident did it, only went and won the national title in aussie. I was referring to riding for Somerset, where he didn't reach the heights that he did at the start to mid season form.

Halifaxtiger
Care to explain how? Â Â Because, as Pirate Nick has pointed out, this is nothing to do with a lack of ambition - a comment that I suspect was motivated by spite - and is all about a lack of rides. Â Its not a bad move for Kurtz, its a very good one. Hopefully he will both make a lot more money and get the additional confidence that winning races as a PL no1 will provide while still having the opportunity to compete at the highest level. Good for him, good for Poole and good for Plymouth. Â To return to lack of ambition, my understanding is that initially Kurtz stated he didn't want to go back to the PL. Â I'm not going to get carried away by this signing - as some seem to have done - regarding Plymouth's play off possibilities but it does give them (at least on paper) a very young, attractive side. Â Lets hope that they get the attendances that this team deserves. Edited May 26, 2016 by Halifaxtiger

I think the reason he wasn't at Somerset was a combination of as you say he didn't particularly want the PL originally and also a huge number of fixtures clashes so I'm led to believe. Pinny
I think every british rider in the EL would want to ride pl if they could, even Harris is rumoured to want a move down simply because none of them are good enough to hold down full time places abroad in Poland and Sweden where the money is and their lacking rides thus points money.  Watt is another whos not good enough to hold down a berth in poland or sweden, hence why he is apparantly looking to the PL.  I dont think Kurtz or Cook dropping back down is a lack of ambition, their both simply not yet good enough to ride week in week out in the top flights abroad. Yet.
Buttons
Kurtz should do very well, not suprising he signed when his brother and Mate ride for Plymouth. Edited May 26, 2016 by Buttons
scaramanga
why is it lack of ambition the so called british elite league hasnt been a good product for quite a few years now yes you have a few decent riders at the top end but the lower end and no disrespedt to them are basicly national league riders the races are 2 in 1 most of them with 2 riders racing for the win and 2 racing for third im not a plynouth fan but i hope as the start post says this move brings the crowds in as the management have tried hard to get a team together that will challenge and entertain so many dont really try to challange and entertain but build teams regarding cost and budget

Good post agree with everything you said ,looking at Cook even at his best it would be hard for him to get a regular place in Poland the level is so competetive.

Aroundtheboards
I would like to congratulate the Plymouth Devils management who after nearly closing have now put together a very good looking team with both the Australian Champion and the Australian U 21 champion in their team. Â This team looks very attractive in my eyes. Â No1 Brady Kurtz, No 2 Sam Simota,No 3 Jack Holder, No 4 Todd Kurtz, No 5 Kyle Newman, No 6 Stefan Nielsen and No 7 Ellis Perks. Â Come on you Plymouth fans that's a very attractive team and deserves large attendances. Plymouth are bound to be happy with this signing and why not, who could blame them ? It's Kurtz I question, why oh why sign full time Elite League in the first place he knew he wouldn't get the rides and Poland isn't working out or Denmark. He needed another year at least in the Premier League with the option of doubling up with an Elite side. His knees ain't brown enough yet to sustain a living purely in Elite League and traveling at weekends. He ain't the finished article yet. He needs to mature. Get on with it Brady, know your place !!! Do a job for Plymouth and yourself. But remember, they (Plymouth ) aren't out of the wood yet !!!
Willowman
... for quite a few years now yes you have a few decent riders at the top end but the lower end and no disrespedt to them are basicly national league riders  What? So Plymouth have just signed a National League rider as their number 1 then as Brady rides at reserve for Poole? Charles Wright and Paul Starke from the Rebels would take exception to being called NL riders as would say Richie Worrall and Justin Sedgmen etc. Bit out there I would suggest.
