orion
remind me just how well KK did in the GP's last year. Top 2 my bottom. Yea we know that .. the question was where did Freddie come ..it's a simple enough question ? Edited May 28, 2016 by orion
stevebrum
Really odd post. Where did I say or imply kk finished top 2 last season? Just pointing out that Lindgren hadn't even qualified. Kk was rubbish last year, statistically probably not even in the top 100 in the world, but not sure how that is relevant to this season? Secondly, only the very top riders have averaged 8 riding as a hl in this heat format. So a rider scoring double figures as a number one in over 50% of meetings is actually doing a good job. Not sure why you see kks scores as something to be knocked. my reply was aimed more at the other Coventry posters and used your post as more of an agreement than disagreement. Sorry if that wasn't clear. Yea we know that .. the question was where did Freddie come ..it's a simple enough question ? It's a daft enough question that requires no answer. So I won't be indulging. mdmc82
Stevebrum hates everything Coventry. I guess it's due to having been second best to us for most of the time 😉
LisaColette
It ws very harsh to exclude Woryna as he was just trying to avoid Garrity as his bike slowed. This is one of them quotes where you had to be there not make assumptions of an incident. That's why I put 'sounds like' as I was going by comments on the update site
fliss44
That's why I put 'sounds like' as I was going by comments on the update site It was a harsh decision but all came good in the end for Coventry

Spend a lot of time in Coventry and got tons of good friends from Coventry. At least you admit you are second best this season (to most teams). Plus I have a lot of time for the Cov junior team. SCB
KK is so rubbish that of all riders who have ridden at heat leader in 2016 (and using heat leader meetings only) he is 4th in the averages behind Doyle, Puk and AJ. Freddie's meetings as heat leader are lower than KKs But it's ok, Stevebrum thinks he's rubbish. Which makes you wonder what he thinks about the other 94% of the EL that can't achieve that. Tell you what's embarrassing, arguing that a guy who is 4th in he EL heat leader averages is embarrassing hahaha Edited May 28, 2016 by SCB

SCB
Just waiting till he scores 4 again. For someone who had a go at me earlier and used a dead man to get a dig in (incorrectly), you're taking an awful lot of pleasure out of a guy scoring 4 points on the day he had attended the funeral of a family member. Kaspazak could have pulled out of the meeting but instead came from the funeral to ride for the bees, showing good commitment. You could tell his mind wasn't in it like usual though which was understandable. With regards to this meeting last night, here is a video of heat 2 http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.30553 Edited May 28, 2016 by mdmc82
bellevueace
I enjoyed the meeting, the track was well prepared and served up an entertaining meeting. We did well to get within three points as cookie, stevie, and scott wernt really firing and JJ was never at the races. Both teams suffered their share of bad luck and the Bees came on strong in the second half so fair play to them. Matej started well then tailed off somewhat, probably the stress of riding into the car park instead of the pits . Bomber was excellent and was great to watch. Whats more important than any result is that Brandon continues to exist as a speedway venue. Walking down to the Royal Oak before the meeting i was imagining the impact a new housing estate on the speedway site would have on the local community, it would take away that village feel and with the extra traffic etc i would be suprised if any resident would want that. As we saw with our stadium building a new venue is not straightforward, Swindon are finding that out, and not forgetting Reading whose new home never materialized. The sport can not afford to lose Coventry and i hope im visiting Brandon for years to come.
