Coventry Bees V Belle Vue Aces 27/05/2016

Would guess they will book Lindgren for Kasprzak which will strengthen them

Hopefully Lindgren can be tempted. Chances are he's planned a couple of days at home after riding in SEC tomorrow afternoon before heading to Poland on Sunday.

Might not be that simple to simply book him.

Nice initiative:

COVENTRY team partners NGK will have prizes available for supporters at Friday’s Elite League clash with Belle Vue at Brandon.

NGK are supporting the Down’s Syndrome Association and will be raising money for the cause at the Bees v Aces fixture.

During the interval representatives will be coming through the stadium with donation buckets and giving away trolley keyrings.

There will also be a chance to win a pair of ‘VIP Hospitality with NGK’ tickets to the Coventry v Swindon fixture on Friday July 1 with buffet and drinks included, as well as signed 2016 Greg Hancock and Scott Nicholls caps.

A pair of Coventry Bees race-jackets donated by the club and signed by all of the riders racing on Friday, will also be up for grabs.

A merchandise table where donations can be made for baseball caps, beanie hats and T-shirts will be located by the Track Shop, with ALL PROCEEDS going to the Down’s Syndrome Association.

We are pleased to be supporting this most worthy cause, and wish everyone good luck for the various giveaways.

Great, so we have to replace the SEC challenge champion and former world no 2 with a guy who finished 12th out of 16 and couldn't even qualify!

Massively weakens us!

On a serious note, Lindgren seems to have been involved in an incident with Artem Laguta in the last heat, so hope he's ok to guest.

Strengthens the Bees.

On both Lindgren's visits to Brandon this year he has been a 2nd string so hardly strengthens us.

Hoping he can score well in the tougher no 1 position for us. He's been in good form so far although struggled today in the SEC challenger whilst KK won it.

KK Home 8.63 Away 7.71. Overall 8.35

FL Home 9.71. Away 9.76. Overall 9.74

Yes but Kaspazak achieved his riding at number 1 whilst Lindgren achieved his mainly as a second string. Adam Ellis had a 8 average but his was at reseve so that doesn't mean he's as good as Doyle who achieved his as a heatleader.
