RobMcCaffery
Yes, hope Karger can repay the faith they're showing. But you don't mention the dust........... I was concentrating more on Karger and the stadium than noticing the dust. Bear in mind I've only seen one meeting at the old place since the Rockets folded in 1994. I've seen enough comments from here over the years and from friends who still go to know that the track's been an embarrassment for a long time which is why I was pleased to see it looking pretty reasonable in the clip. I put a heck of a lot of effort and commitment into that place in my time, despite having to walk away in 2000 for what were deeply personal reasons. I still care though, although now from a long distance. Edited May 24, 2016 by rmc
EIS002
Quite a shiner he has from the photo he posted on Twitter. Next home meeting is BH Monday, so that'll be rider replacement. Heeps, Lykke and the reserves eligible to take Leigh's rides. spoke to Leigh today and he's feeling it now, good news is 99% sure nothing broken. Just a big repair bill. Bandits4eva
Yes, hope Karger can repay the faith they're showing. But you don't mention the dust........... An afternoon meeting tends to produce dust anywhere.. Not just Rye House.. Plus it was not looking 100% with the weather.. If they'd put down the water it would take only for it then to rain, people would have called them also.
waco
I have noticed that the red shale we tend to use down here in the south, is very fine, and while every effort is being made by the track staff, it is harder to stop the dust,,When darker corser shale was used from Scunthorpe a while ago it was considerably better,,,No idea if it costs more,, but might be worth trying again.., Edited May 25, 2016 by waco
