Rockets V Edinburgh Sun 22nd May 6pm

Pretty sure that would've been a rerun if it was a Sky match. The ref (and everyone watching on TV) would've had multiple replays. Even Sam Masters admitted it should've been all four back

She should,nt need a replay it was obvious to every one else in the stadium that it should have been all four back,,And I thought Babs was bad but I think even she would have got this right!

I thought Etheridge was very luck to stay in Heat 14 after causing carnage in the first corner

Spot on. Didn't turn left and took them all out

He lifted just after the start and wasn't given any room by karger.

Dunno how he managed to lift given the lack of grip.

Would not have deserved to be excluded.

Clegg didn't leave Karger any choice, Etheridge had way more room but still decided to head for Broxbourne Junction.

Good pics but the important frame is in between 1 and 2.

In frame 1 it looks like karger is trying to clamp etheridge but wasn't ahead enough to do it.

In frame 2 you just see the aftermath of probably handlebars / elbows bashed together.

I wouldn't put the blame on karger or etheridge.

By the way that's macca and me in the background in frames 2, 3 & 4.

Glad lanham is not as badly injured as I feared he might be.

In the first frame 3 riders are turning, 1 isn't.

My legs are in 6, 7 & 8.

I just noticed that too Scotsman. "Fame" at last after watching speedway for 46 years, lol and I had to be pictured stood next to an East Lothian man.....

Being a neutral (can I call myself that any more?) I'm not apportioning any blame for Heat 14. I'm just glad that all four of them came out of it reasonably unscathed, particularly Gentleman Leigh Lanham. Heat 1 was totally down to an inept referee who seemed hell bent on finishing the meeting in 90 minutes.

Sitting in the posh seats then Alan, lol. Reminds me of when Sky zoomed in on my son at Maine Road before the start of the opening match of the season against Ipswich, and highlighted how many pies I'd had to eat that week.

Best wishes to PK and Leigh for a quick recovery. With Leigh being knocked out cold I suppose that's an automatic 9 day rest up so time to let the stitches heal up properly.

Quite a shiner he has from the photo he posted on Twitter. Next home meeting is BH Monday, so that'll be rider replacement. Heeps, Lykke and the reserves eligible to take Leigh's rides.

Against Redcar I'd throw Robert Branford in.

Edit: Scrub that, forgot there was a 3 point limit for #8s.

Even so, RR withi Kasper, Cam & Ben would get us more points. Can't take any team for granted. Edited by Shads

I just watched the heat 11 clip on the BSPA website. Apart from the pleasure of seeing a much-maligned kid finally getting it right it was good to see the track looking much improved and to see that the stadium is finally being sorted-out.

I do hope the investment is rewarded and that it's not a one-off for young Karger. Sometimes patience does get rewarded.

Yep less dust & more dirt and it will be pretty good!

And once the spectator areas are done will be very smart.

I have to say the pits are amongst the best I have ever seen.

Full marks for the design.

Yes, hope Karger can repay the faith they're showing. But you don't mention the dust...........

Do you mention that Berwick is a one liner gaters paradise these days in your newsletters?
