TheScotsman
No chance of making both meetings I don't think. I fear we'll have to miss out.
arnieg
He's not named in the Colts team at Mildenhall. So I expect him at Rye House.
TheScotsman
That's handy. I did read unofficially that we now had priority. The lad will be knackered though - Wednesday - Birmingham Thursday - Ipswich Friday - Edinburgh Saturday - Workington Sunday - Hoddesdon? Lucky he has now turned 17 (on Friday) but when's he going to get his homework done?

Lucky he has now turned 17 (on Friday) but when's he going to get his homework done? Not surprised he's knackered, he's tiny! Don't think we had any overnight rain, my car is dry! 40% chance of light rain from around 7pm onwards, so they'd better crack on. May be a 5.45 parade with heat 1 starting at 6pm Edited May 22, 2016 by Shads
Panthers89
Why no Kennett in 15? Gifted Monarchs a point there.
soupy
Can not believe Rye house never went with Robbo or Kennett in heat 15,unless both where struggling with bikes.
Baldyman
Karger wins a race and in that race is masters? The lad is coming good
Shadders
Talk about ending the meeting on a downer. First the horrific looking crash involving all four riders in heat 14, Leigh Lanham sustaining a hand injury and possible concussion. Then the bizarre decision to put our worst gater up against the Monarchs top two on a dry track with them on the favourable outside gate. Let's hope that gifted point doesn't come back to haunt us. I await the explanation. Track looked dry, maybe due to the expected rain which didn't materialise. Referee had a mare in heat 1. Even Sam Masters admitted it should've been all four back. Rteyp
Thoroughly enjoyed tonights meeting up to Heat 14. The Karger win was just amazing, kept thinking Masters would reel him in but full credit to him he held off Sam for a storming win. Crowd went mad ! Thats why speedway is such a great sport. At the break I looked at the forthcoming heats and predicted a Monarchs win, based on the rider form they were looking strong. Great last surge from the Rockets - well done 3pts. But what were they thinking re heat 15 ?
waco
A victory that had not looked likely mid way through Then turned Rockets way by the most unlikely win in heat 11 by Peter Karger over Masters the crowd looked on in disbelief,, but yes it really happened folks,,,Followed by another big 5-1 from Ben Morley and Cameron Heeps in heat 12,,Bens two late victorys ensuring he top scored for the Rockets with 10+1,, a big thrill for me personally/...Solid team performance guess we will never know the reasoning for not putting out Kennet and Robson in heat 15,,,gifted a match point to Edinburgh who made this an exciting meeting ...Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Leigh Lanham an innocent victim of a first bend pile up in heat 14... Triple.H.
Enjoyable meeting marred by a horror crash. Some great racing. Ht1 had all 4 back written all over it Peter Karger with an absolute storming win over Sam Masters. First time I've been to the launchpad since about this time last year and the stadium improvements are slowly coming together. Whoever decided to get rid of the 1st turn camber deserves a pat on the back. All you (D)Rye House knockers will be tucking into humble pie soon as they have a cracking little racetrack now. Endeavour
Any plans to put Jye back at number 2 IF promotion are going to stick with him? Monarchs a bit exposed in heat 14.
Mr Blobby
Disappointed that we didn't get the win, but a point will do i suppose. Just feel like we're one rider away from being a team that can win the league again.

waco
Agree Shads and his recent form would seem to confirm that..Was that Karger in heat 11 or did his dad borrow the suit for one race ?????? ..Joking aside give the lad credit, fabulous win..Turning point ? well still to be convinced but definately an improvement Edited May 22, 2016 by waco
Shadders
From reports it seems like Etheridge was at fault for the heat 14 pile up
Alan_Jones
Don't know if I caught Etheridge on a bad day, but he looks way out of his depth It was a good day for him. He's been averaging less than Peter Karger and lucked into a point by wiping everyone out in heat 14 and effectively making it a 3 rider race . I don't think being in the main body of the side helps him, but that's their problem
