EIS002
Come on Montie I had you down as a spitter not a swallower. Keep it up this is more entertaining than Hollubs 28 day forced layoff in 2015. Bye the way it's a pound to park, maybe Sam could include that in future posts😜
thebaron
They knew that the NL lad wasn't part of the 'new team' but they were talking about the lad who wasn't there and MPT who was, but wasn't doing very well! MPT is a first class addition to the team; once he dials in again as his regular home track; confident that Tofty will hit a few big scores. Add Lyager and Wilko on Sunday and in all fairness Scorpions take the meeting.
romans lovechild
no matter what the teams should have been, who was fit and who was sick, lets be grateful to the 2 sides that turned out and gave us a thrilling meeting with a last heat decider, what more could we ask for.

Tigerish
Down to the fact that the home team were able to use the golden double tacticle... This should not be allowed for a home team. It's a ridiculous extra advantage when the home team also should have track knowledge.

One the flip side of that i bet alot of the Sheffield team have dome more laps at scunny than they have at Sheffield[which helps to provide great racing]

What a load of bull!...The reason that we have brill racing at Scunny is because all riders know our track through being allowed to use it for practice etc. That's what shouldn't be allowed!...Sheffield has been known to even have Press and Practice day on it!

Are you actually saying we shouldnt allow the clund to rent the track out for practice?
June
Are you actually saying we shouldnt allow the clund to rent the track out for practice? No montie. I was merely meaning; Its not appreciated the fact that their riders know our track equally as good as our own riders! ...therefore we have very little track advantage, if any.
phillwhitewasmad
I'm not sure on this June when ever the track is hired out its not prepared as it would be for a meeting usually very slick. Think personally that the tigers are a good side with all of them not worried about sticking it in the deep dirt. This comes from skill on the bike and a huge pair of bo##ocks and not necessarily from practicing at the EWR
