Scunthorpe Scorpions Vs Sheffield Tigers ( P L) - Sunday, May 22nd (6.30pm)

Recommended Posts

I fear for Scunthorpe today , Sheffield look a very decent outfit and after the concerns over crowd levels last season , the last thing that is needed is some heavy home defeats .

R/R for Garrity evens out the playing field.

With Lyager taking ill, then I would suggest R/R to be the option mr G will take, or could he bring another guest in? Richard Hall? based on his performance in the BSF, I'd happily take him. Should be a cracking meeting, and thoroughly believe Scunny can take this one still. Will be there, as always, loud and proud cheering on the Scorpions

Interesting if true because their is no facility under the rule 16.5.3

thats what it should be but as Lyager isnt 'new' there will probably be a sub section that over rules it.....wink

There is no "new" in the rule 16.5.3 :nono::wink:

still a couple of hours for an amendment "in the best interests of speedway" wink.

(note to self - remove tongue from cheek)

Mmmmm and scored 10 yesterday in Pocking, sick note will be an interesting read. Dodgy Bratworst????

If Lyager was planning on using Berlin`s airport then we already know there`s a history of dodgy burgers there.

It would have been nice to win, and we were a bit unlucky in the end, but without Wilko and with only a junior in for Andreas, I feared a hiding yesterday. We lost, but we went down fighting.

Thanks to Stefan Nielsen - a stunning guest performance.

All the best

Rob

Fantastic meeting, some brilliant racing from both set of riders.. i must admit i feared a repeat of the peterborough score early on sunday morning, but never expected a last heat decider.... i brought two newbies to the sport and they loved it, they were clapping and cheering our riders on, they loved the close racing and passes,

A massive thank you to Stefan, take a bow son, and thank you Plymouth for letting him guest.

That move by Josh from last to second was another Ewr classic. ...also i see the speedwaygb website has sheffield down as a 4pt away win. i thouhjt it was 3 as they won by 6?
