Coventry V Lakeside This Friday (20/5) & Return Clash Saturday

Recommended Posts

Poor quality equals poor attendance, which is why people are leaving in there droves because year on year the product is watered down. I'm not saying I have the answer, but one things for sure top riders increase the attendance.

Just about sums you up though. Know nowt, no answers, criticise others, and tells lies. And now doesn't even go. Stewth.

No, and when you ask them a genuine question as to what they want and how they propose to increase the quality whilst decreasing the cost, they disappear into thin air and don't respond!

I can tell you we need peace and an end to world hunger. Do I have to now tell you how to achieve it?

I was there Friday thanks, so I have every right to criticise.

They don't increase the attendance significantly. Certainly not if you end up running midweek.

Your price would have to go up to 25 quid minimum to pay for them. People would quickly find something new to grumble about.

Shortly going to shut the office and going to watch 6 junior races and main match. No rain here - road to pits bone dry as I look out of the window at 18.55

And the cost. If the increased revenue covers the cost, great. If not, who picks up the bill for the losses? - certainly not the fans whingeing about the lack of 'names'.

There are(and always been and always will be) an awful lot of people on here who are very good at gambling with others money.

5 points over/under?

Personally would say under

Thanks for the update 👍🏻

Think it will be payback tonight for Lakeside. They are one of the strongest teams at home

Lakeside & Coventry proving why they won't make the top 4, can't get any points away from home. Mick Horton must be eating his words about Swindon.....hahahahahhaha

Nobody will get points at Lakeside. Having been there tonight I've got to say I agree with Chris Holder. That place flies in the face of eveything a speedway track should be.

Off to Peterborough tomorrow to cleanse my eyes with some proper speedway.

Thought Woryna at reserve was meant to be a trump card for Coventry.

He probably saw that track and sh£t a brick.

He was expecting a speedway track I think! Looked close to tears in the pits the poor lad.

Werent you one of the people saying how good he was earlier in the year? :P

He was pathetic, didn't even look like he was trying and half a lap behind.

Harris lead every heat he was in but only scored 4, Lanham just not an EL second string any more but doubt Bates would have done much better, KK ok if he gated and tried when he didn't but just couldn't do anything, Sarj was as expected tbh.

Lakeside were just good, all of them.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Ha ha I still enjoyed it. I had a moan and a laugh with my friends about the track shape like I have done for the last ten years, even when we've won there.

Was the telly any good?

Never going to get close once Garrity was missing. Did we even ask Barker to step in? King is averaging over 6 in 2016, just imagine if we had a rider pushing him for that 3rd heatleader role?

That score will keep him at reserve a little longer hopefully. Certainly a trump card at home.
