foamfence
Another poor away performance wonder if the management will make any changes to improve our away scores. Well they made changes to wreck them when they brought in Bridger.
Gemini
Good win, poor meeting, poor crowd and poor value for money, rant over. Well, that didn't last long. I thought you weren't going to moan anymore or is a rant different to a moan? Anyway, on to more important things what's wrong with Chris and who has got to go or he does? ......foamfence......Well they made changes to wreck them when they brought in Bridger. I don't know why anyone bothers with Bridger. Doing his usual toddling round at the back tonight, when he stayed on his bike that is. Anyway, on to more important things what's wrong with Chris and who has got to go or he does? I didn't quite get what was said but was hoping somebody would put on here though. I thought the racing was good, we won and there was good passing. AJ is quite brilliant around Brandon, apart from heat 13 he was a class above and is a pleasure to watch. Woz01
So what did Bomber say exactly? I know he isn't happy about the BSPA but was this different?
Vincent Vega
Its time for Eddie Kennett to come into the side at the expense of Lewis B. Bridger would benefit riding in the PL to get his confidence back. Swiderski is great at home but struggling away. Same goes for Rob Mear the PL would be better for him.
mdmc82
So what did Bomber say exactly? I know he isn't happy about the BSPA but was this different? Not sure. I didn't here anything announced during meeting. Only think I read was the same as you about the BSPA and qualifiers. Have I missed something? Gemini
It was after the meeting talking to Peter on the mike. He said he was fed up with Speedway at the moment, which is perhaps understandable as he's had a pretty rough time of it lately. Then he said he'd "have to have a word with the gaffer because either he goes or I do." No idea if he meant something to do with the BSPA or Coventry. Have I missed something? Apparently had a rant after the meeting when being interviewed. Been told it was about the bspa and the British Final qualifying dates. I think because some heard the word 'gaffer' they assumed something wasn't right in the Bees camp but I guess he was referring to Rosco.

Rosco has led us to 2 world cup finals and Bomber has scored 4 legit points in 2 GP meetings so Bomber must be out if it's a choice. We can replace him with a world class rider like Bridger and the world cup gold will surely be ours.
fliss44
Should be a home win with Woryna at reserve, hopefully Sarjeant can find some form too tonight. He did and no sniff of the tapes! The boy did good.

Sad to hear Harris isn't enjoying his speedway at the moment although it is kind of showing at the moment. Bomber isn't the type of rider to say things about fellow team mates and his problems haven't been with Coventry so imagine it's more to do with somebody on the BSPA or being let down by Rosco with his recent qualifier selection as those are the areas he has been feeling let down in. fliss44
Good win, poor meeting, poor crowd and poor value for money, rant over. It was a good win. I don't understand why you think it was a poor meeting? As for the crowd it was pretty much as was expected. I can think of many meetings that have been poor value for money but I wouldn't include tonight's meeting in that category.

Also a few ambitious passes that caught some out but all in all it was a good night. The meeting ran at a good pace and there was actually some up to date music

Think Bomber has earned the right to speak about the state of the sport considering all he's done. He's basically saying it how it is similar to Tai. I think the 'Either he goes or I go' can be taken with a pinch of salt. He's angry after all.
mdmc82
Great win for bees tonight. However Lakeside are a very strong side at home with a 100% win record there so I think they will get their revenge in the return leg (weather permitting) Edited May 20, 2016 by mdmc82

I sometimes wonder if people are watching the same match as me as I enjoyed it too. As for the crowd it was about the same as usual and that's the level it is now. Perhaps if everyone was restricted to the home straight like at Wolverhampton and not strung out all around a stadium that can hold over 12,000 it would look a good crowd.
SCB
Pretty ordinary meeting tbh. Though AJs exclusion was harsh and was massively impressed with Woryna who I though rode in a far more controlled fashion tonight until the last lap of heat 14! Maybe not as exciting but more effective. Sarj looked pretty good too and Roynon did more than I think anyone expected. As for the rest, blink and you missed them. Thought the crowd was pretty good personally. Edited May 20, 2016 by SCB
Daniel Smith
Interesting read regarding Harris. Are we seeing another blast where he's blaming everybody else but himself? Such a passionate rider but does seem clueless with it at times. If his me or you was regarding Rosco then it's bye bye Harris for me. SWC Team : Woffinden Nicholls Cook Lambert / S Worrall Doesn't matter where he goes for the SGP Qualifiers, he should have got through them but he didnt and that's down to him
Halifaxtiger
I don't know why anyone bothers with Bridger. Doing his usual toddling round at the back tonight, when he stayed on his bike that is. The last time I saw him - at home to Poole - he was amazing. Fired up, skilled and gutsy. Last night he just didn't seem to want to know. There's no question in mind that he's good enough, it must be attitude. Pretty ordinary meeting tbh. Though AJs exclusion was harsh and was massively impressed with Woryna who I though rode in a far more controlled fashion tonight until the last lap of heat 14! I thought the crowd was good, especially for a Lakeside match.
