Shadders
You are right it's not his fault. it would be nice to know just how much input bob has. Last night they spent a good half hour during a couple of heats making the track more racy. To be honest that's the best I've ever seen that track, and it was providing better racing. They've been working on it all week adding shale I've been told,, but it'll take a little while to bed in Edited May 15, 2016 by Shads
Baldyman
Maybe that's our shale, can we have it back. Like I've said.the rye track is the best I've seen it, good on them for at least trying to provide the fans with some good racing.

RPNY
Looking at that video, seems like the Stadium is a bit of a bombsite at the moment. Glad they are making improvements all over tho.

Stadium has been run down for years. A few plastic seats bought from the old Plough Lane Stadium and the new refs box is the only changes I can recall recently. First thing the promotion needed to do was address the adverse camber on the first/second bends. As far as I'm aware planning permission was only given a couple of weeks before the start of the season. I don't think major stadium redevelopment can be done during the season. The start of next season will see major changes in sure

Good to see the promotion have tackled the important issue first.

They also had the foresight to instal an FIM approved safety fence which I'm led to believe will be mandatory for every track from 2018

Shadders
what's the difference? You should really be directing that question to the FIM
Pob
Have enjoyed both my visits to Rye House this season ok bearing the results but very nice to see the work being carried out at the track. Very nice to see also the amount of work they did to the track as the meeting went on to try and improve the racing on the night . Fair play to the Rye House team for doing all they can to give the fans some good racing .

Makes a pleasant change to read something positive from a travelling fan rather than the usual dry house rubbish.
