mdmc82
Rohan has an average of 7.06 or 6.49 from tomorrow. His average is 6.49 but unless a like for like swap, the team still needs to add up to the point limit Swindon are currently 42.11 with Tungate in the team

orion
Poole proving why they remain title favourites. Has the Swindon revival bubble burst? Not really ...it's bit like at start of the season when you put the Poole side up with the Swindon side it's amazing they push them so close . Great Crowd today but you have wonder why this match was not on this date in the first place . Not a bad meeting thou the track was a dustbowl in the end. Swindon so called water truck is a joke .

SteveLyric2
Well done to both teams. I knew it would be close but more than happy with 2 more points than I predicted.. Matt says 'well done guys - after Wednesday why not take the rest of June off'?! Well until the 29th anyway............................!! Grachan
Good meeting and a good crowd. Found myself locked out of the car park and having to find somewhere to park. Some stretched out races but some decent races in between. Unfair to criticise Tungate. With him and Sedgeman forced to ride as heatleaders Swindon were never going to win, but fair play to Sedgy who adapted to the role very well. Poole were far from convincing. Even with the line up as it was it took a few exclusions and the bizarre decision not to exclude Andersen from heat 11 for them to do it. Why was he not excluded? A rider gets a warning for moving at the start. Moves again, so gets a fine but isn't excluded? Can't figure that one out at all. If Nick had been a heatleader and Rohan a second string Swindon would have won, I'm sure. Poole might kick on now, but will still need more thsn this if they are to be the team everyone expected.
Gavan
Poole as expected by everyone win away. Holder scoring good points on a track that wasn't like riding a bucking bronco. Poole still title favourites so nothing changes. Let's hope the leagues biggest club in Belle Vue can play a hand. Got to love Starman moaning about the track and Shovlar being extremely biased as always. Love the chuckle brothers always a good read
remembertheracers
Sh*t happens do think Tungate is vulnerable though two bad home performances on the trot doesnt bode well for him can we fit Zengi in yet...? Tungate, rather like Batchelor, seems almost to advertise he is not trying when at the back. Seen enough of him and he's got into a bad habit. If Rosco has a realistic chnge he should go for it. Steve Shovlar
Didnt think it was very good meeting racing wise. Track started slick and then they decided to dtop watering before the interval. Track had a big blue groove on it at the end and bad dust. Riders really struggling. Outsidegate were the best. Huge crowd. The fans are still there as the crowd proved. Getting them there every week is the trick. Poole brought along a lot of fans. The scoreline kept it more exciting than the racing.
YerRopes
We actually won away, I can't believe it!!! I am still in shock. Really... Compare the heatleaders... Poole Noddy, Buzz and Hans whilst Swindon have Jason, Rohan and Justin... Swindon have been 'punching above their weight' for a while now and did well to run the Pirates so close...

Perhaps our track needs to get as bad as yours, where riders bounce all over the place hoping to just stay on to provide that spectacle..
waiheke1
morris touched tapes. Cook was excluded against Poole without touching the tapes, or even being warned?
Steve Shovlar
Cook was excluded against Poole without touching the tapes, or even being warned? He did get warned. Not excluded for touching the tapes. Excludd for delaying start. Hand was warned in one heat. Did it again in another and the ref said several rider were moving. But again, why was Wright not excluded for not being under power when Morris touched the tapes?

Sorry, Steve you are wrong, he was pulled back for moving in heat 1, then later warned & fined for again moving, then moved again in heat 11. I think ref bottled it because other riders were also moving. Fairly sure you can be disqualified this season for moving in a later heat if you have been previously in an earlier heat. Didn't affect the result tho' as he finished last in heat 11. As I said earlier in this topic, I would have kept the meeting to the Thursday night against a weaker Poole side. Big crowds don't win the league, points do. Get the big crowd in the play-offs. Can't see us picking up any more than 3 points from the next 3 meetings.

That was the heat where he got a second warning and was fined. Heat 13 he moved again. The ref said more than one rider moved so did nothing but call a restart. Hans then moved again in the restart! The ref let it go, but he came last anyway. Hans not being excluded in heat 11 did effect the result.

Why not have a beer, sh*g the wife or even plant a flower or even a tree And now, just take a few deep breaths... its shovlar come on he can't just take the win. Poole are favourites home or away against every side they face. We always get the same old prediction from him that it will be tough then when they win its all happiness. Poole should have won by more than they did with their 3 world class heat leaders, a second string who is a gp winner and the current Australian champ at reserve with the highest ranked fast track rider. Compare that to a Swindon side who had Tungate and Sedgeman as heat leaders , 2 riders who last season were premier league second strings!! Something isn't quite right at Poole if the current 1-7 are scraping wins against inferior sides
