Bald Bloke
Well done Swindon. Lynnhave strengthened with Batchelor now in the side so a decent couple of points tonight. Batchelor attaining his average for this season though Batch for Rory.Strengthened.. ?
mrss
Good meeting tonight. Fair result but is there any one else who could take Wilkinsons place. He isn't good enough for the Elite league.
Daniel Smith
Bit the bullet and went in the end, glad I did. Half decent meeting. Iversen was sublime and a 15 point max and not all FTG. In fact, I can't remember him making a gate at all. I can see where Swindon fans are happy with 2 points but all in all, they actually threw away 2 points. They should have left with all 4. At the end, it was a terrific point for the Stars. 3-4 good races tonight plus 1 outstanding bit of riding from Lambert in heat 15 against Doyle. Out of the top draw, put back in the bottom draw and out the top draw again. What a race, loved it. For me, I don't see why we're persevering with Wilkinson. He has to go, I'd rather promote another lad from the Young Stars and use Simon Lambert when he's available. Mads was poor with 1 good race and Huckenbeck was abysmal. Batchelor stay for his first home meeting. Thank god Iversen decided to stay, what an absolutely abysmal team we'd of been without him. Right now, Korneliussen, Huckenbeck and Wilkinson must have question marks over their futures. Korneliussen might be saved by the fact his away performances are generally quite good. I'd go with Josh Bailey or Tom Stokes but use Simon Lambert wherever possible as he's our 3rd reserve. Absolutely nothing to lose compared to what we've got now imo. You could be right Wilko ok what is he 35? to even consider Stokes/Bailey would be a disaster not to the team but themselves confidence wise.I like Lambert a lot but this year heat 2s are pretty tough.Wilkinson even tonight scored 2 that others would not of we shall see what happens in the next month. Trees
We need to get some meetings under our belt, Kai surely needs some more practice at Lynn, try some different lines with Robert, he had a bright start before the layoff. With 5 weeks off it does feel like the start of the season again, was so good to get back to see the senior team again 😆
g13webb
I don't know whether this was a point gained or points lost. Although I enjoyed the night's racing, the standard of the Elite teams, these days are pretty poor. Fair play to Swindon who battle well, but you didn't have much to beat. Niels tonight was majestic. His desire to win stood out like a beacon. Most of the time he was made to battle, but true to his stature he reign supreme. What a pity the others don't show the same attitude as Niels. Mads with slow bikes, and rusty Batchelor didn't help the cause. Huckenbeck and Wilko were poor, Rose done his job. In the end, it was left to Lambert to scrap a point. Yes, a brilliant last race against Doyle, but I was disappointed with Lambert and expected more from him than the single race win he managed. As a heat leader, he has to do better than that.... Looking at the team as a unit, we are weak. I remember when we raced in the Premier League we were better than this. Take Niels away and we are in Dire Straits. Its a long time since our team was this poor. you can rest assured we will finish nearer the bottom than the top of the league. Any thoughts of reaching the 'Play-offs' is just wishful thinking..... A ORLOV
We should have got more than two points and looking at the scores it seems that Jason was not fully fit, which was a pity but good of him for riding, Rohan got dialled in half way through the meeting and Justin had some bad luck with bike trouble, so not too bad a night for Roscos Roobins. We are now unbeaten for six meetings and need to continue that on monday, but we need to possibly be a bit wary about the change in riders positions within the team. Daniel Smith
The biggest concern last night for me was the crowd. It looked quite a substantial drop to normal numbers for what was a big fixture against the Robins Are the fans fed up Or was it down to being a rearranged fixture

It looked quite a substantial drop to normal numbers for what was a big fixture against the Robins Are the fans fed up Or was it down to being a rearranged fixture The club hasn't been in a great place for a while now it seems. And a so so team with little chance of making the playoffs isn't helping the casual supporter. Sure the hardcore fans will come week in week out no matter what. Not having Kerr at reserve is critical. I agree with another post from early, wouldn't mind giving some of the Young Stars a chance.

Daniel Smith
Or perhaps negativity! They missed some great races!! There is a lot of understandable negativity around King's Lynn right now and the sport as a whole. Only the promoter's can change that.
