Edinburgh V Plymouth Koc 13/4/16 @7.30pm

Recommended Posts

7 more Friday clashes, less than perfect and difficult for Dan to get any real home track advantage. Not looked at away fixtures

It was a strange one with Peterborough and Cookie as whilst I get the argument for not racing on the same race night for 2 reams it wasn't applied last year when it was Edinburgh & Belle Vue. If you are going to make a rule it has to be applied consistently.

Another reason why EL should be a single race day.

Yes he has, could come in in place of Jye at any time and move Clegg to main body of team

Take it you mean his passport

Think I would rather keep Jye, to early to judge him yet, I think Mitch has reached his level, happy to be proved wrong by him though.

Never expected an 18pt lead really gives us hope for progressing 2moz but job is only half done.

Plymouth were very poor except Worral and Holder to a lesser extent whose deserved more than 5 points. Nielsen scoring well with 8+3 from 7 riders but was quite up and down. Rest poor and never looked like challenging much.

Monarchs top 4 were not troubled much but everyone dropped a point or 2. In the bottom end Clegg scored an impressive 7+2 majority coming from the back. Exciting yes but be nice if he could gate more often. Nice to see Dan getting his first paid win in a very impressive heat 4. Etheridge had a good couple races but still looking uncomfortable at times (falling while in 2nd with no one near him).

Despite the lovely the weather this week it was another nippy one but clear blue skies. Shame the meeting seemed to drag on and quite alot of track grading tacking place but it did provide some good racing so suppose it was worth it.

Interesting meeting next week with Edinburgh against Belle Vue Colts in an intermediate challenge. Be good too see William Lawson back in a meeting round the dale with a few youngsters taking part (and mitch davey thrown in).

Far more comfortable than expected. There was some great racing last night despite the score line. Should be enough to see us through IMO.

Top 4 were great tonight and all banged in good scores. Jyes score doesn't really reflect on how well he actually rode. Great to see young Dan get a paid win the lad has really came on since we last seen him. Special mention to Max Clegg, now that was the max we are used to seeing coming from behind 3 times last night for a much deserved good score.

Now all the down to Plymouth tonight to hopefully finish of the job.
