Mr Blobby
Knockout cup action this week as we welcome the Plymouth Devils. What seemed to be an easier match for us on paper has just got a whole lot tougher as Stevie Worrall has been drafted in at number 1. Hopefully though we can take a decent lead down south for the return match. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters 2. Erik Riss 3. Kevin Wolbert 4. Jye Etheridge 5. Ryan Fisher 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Plymouth 1. Stevie Worrall (G) 2. Kyle Newman R/R 3. Jack Holder 4. Todd Kurtz 5. Sam Simota 6. Stefan Nielsen 7. Ellis Perks Edited May 13, 2016 by Mr Blobby
TheScotsman
Decent top 4 for the Devils. Tricky fixture if Super Stevie is flying as he has been recently.
damosuzuki
Not being funny but I see this as a 43-47. Plymouth too strong with that side.
TheScotsman
So you are saying Plymouth are stronger than your beloved Tiggers? Even though we will be stronger than last week, assuming we have Dan the Man back?
damosuzuki
Never said that, I just do my usual heat by heat detailed analysis and have come up with those figures. Fact not fiction, what's your point caller etc.
Gazc
Plymouth by 60 but I am lying at the pool in Majorca so I don't really give a s*it. Plus the cider is chilled. Edited May 11, 2016 by Gazc
Fromafar
Think it will be tight,at least Monarchs fans are not sure about home results these days a bit tension makes a better entertainment factor.

But seriously I'm sure the Devils would settle for a defeat by around 6 to give themselves a chance to progress from the 2nd leg. lewy
Bewley not available again is he riding for belle vue? Surey not in th best interest of british speedway or dont the rules apply to the monarchs, luke chessell guesting!

That's a pity with Ellis Perks his opposite number he would likely have managed to score his average.

Surey not in th best interest of british speedway or dont the rules apply to the monarchs, luke chessell guesting! Taken from the BV website today:- But it’s been confirmed that the home guard will be without teenage sensation Daniel Bewley owing to Premier League commitments with Edinburgh. Club No.8 Joe Lawlor will deputise at reserve. Bewley’s absence is a reciprocal gesture to the Monarchs’ promotion for their co-operation with his appearance for the Colts last Friday. Belle Vue will hereafter take priority over the 16 year-old. Do you mean the Plymouth leg as you have posted this on the Edinburgh vs Plymouth match thread?
Dekker
If he's gonna miss so many matches with BV now a friday team surely Monarchs are looking at a full time replacement.

Mr Blobby
Bewley will be at Armadale tonight so don't know what lewy is on about unless he means tomorrow. It will be R/R for Kyle Newman now for the Devils
