Poole Pirates Vs Leicester Lions 18/5/16

Recommended Posts

Next week sees the Leicester Lions make their first trip of the season to Wimborne Road

The Lions are certainly no push overs and we're 12 points up at Home to Poole on Monday evening.

The Pirates though have remained strong so far at home and I feel should see off the threat from the Lions.

Was impressed with Symon Wozniak on Monday at Leicester and will be interesting to see how he goes around Poole.

Thoughts?

45-45 as watt will want to prove a point and walasek will come back on a mission.

sorry but earlier you said I know nothing! Walasek been dropped ages ago! I fancy Poole to top 60 and Boyce and Tony Langdon to get double figures

I still stand by the fact you know very little, walasek was not dropped he wasn't race fit and the door is open for a return.

you love Aussies

first real opportunity to gauge if the poole fans are going to "pick" their meetings this yr.(prediction big home win)

Don't see why. No meeting on Wednesday so two week gap. Plus the return of Davey Watt will boost the attendance to see what he does. Will definately get a very big welcome back.

Now he is in the team I will re-assess my prediction to 54-36ish.

So what position will Ellis ride at now he is the Poole top average heat leader?.

I thought the top rider needs to ride at 1. Just shows how stupid the EDR rules/averages are when Ellis goes from tier 2 reserve to #1 - you couldn't make it up!

Its a farcical situation. What good will it do Ellis to get beat every week in a false position.

Thought the idea of the reserves was to bring young British riders on.

We now see situations where the current Aussie champion is at reserve, and even riders like Tungate and Masters down there as well.

Leave 6 and 7 as the 6 and 7 all season. Its crazy that the rules allowed Kyle Newman to be in the draft but thats Pooles gain and i believe him and Ellis should stay 6 and 7 all season

I would allow the EDR rider into the top 1 - 5 but allow the team manager to put them in any position, usually 2 or 4 to see how they got on. If they do well and beat heat leaders then move them up.
