Daniel Smith
Â Â Â Can a promoter be pushed/dismissed/got rid of from the BSPA? Are you a member by right if you are a promoter? Â Yes, the BSPA can revoke the promoter's licence.

Big Al
Can a promoter be pushed/dismissed/got rid of from the BSPA? Are you a member by right if you are a promoter? Presumably yes, if it's due to something like gross misconduct or serious breach of rules.

1 valve
I read somewhere that DH prior to resigning had been banned from speedway for 4 weeks due to something he said/did at a recent meeting. If this is true does anybody know what he did or say?My apologies if the answer is already in this thread, I have looked but cant see anything so specific. Â I guess flagrag will have an answer for you. Â Could be to do with DH slating the ref on the microphone about the lights but then he is very vocal so could be a million things. Â Could be to do with DH slating the ref on the microphone about the lights but then he is very vocal so could be a million things. You could well be right about the incident at the KL match when the ref switched the lights out by mistake, DH made a comment towards the ref & said " I suppose that will get me a fine". If that was the reason it looks like he got more than a fine. Hence the 4 week ban.

Countershaftcounter
Probably another one of his many drunken rants at an official has finally gone too far and he was pulled up on it. It's a well known and regular occurrence at meetings.
