Poland V Rest Of World Sunday 15th May Warsaw Live On Tv

Lol. So jelous haha. Woffinden is NOTHING but start yet you call Hampel and Zmarzlik which all can overtake opponents "robots" rofl. (They have no tunnels in their ears and didn't let their bodies become sketch-books filled with poor tattoos so they have no "personality" lolololo). And believe me Woffinden is nowhere close to Gollob's class in his days. Gollob even when didn't win GP because of some circumstances was DESTROYING everybody on track and not just start-lead-finish. Didn't matter if the guy was so called "World Champion" after winning the GP series. Gollob was doing him like the guy was a junior.

What are you talking about when Gollob miss the start and there wasnt an outside line he gave up after 2 laps and waited on the centre green. Woffy ride till the end and makes many last lap/last corner overtake, he doesnt give up like Gollob used to do it many times.

Polish riders just dont have that plus in them what makes real champions, Gollob was really close but still he missed out on many titles because he couldnt step up when it really mattered.

I can count times Woffinden wins after having bad start on fingers of my one palm.

Additionally Woffinden got his titles only because he was lucky enough to not get injured. His 1st title was stolen from Emil and even with Sajfutdinov out he barely beat him. Last year there was no Sajfutdinov and no Hampel and Kasprzak in bad form so he was racing against grandpa Hancock and old Pedersen.

??? you a wind up or what??? call for the white coats!.....watching tom p madsen beat gollob with ease round foxhall was embarrassing, the man gave up loads of times at the back....of course gollob is/was a talent, but his record wont come close to woffy! wake up and smell the roses!!

Grandpa Hancock...is this the same "past it" old duffer who scored a 21 point maximum in Melbourne?.

What about his 1st title? It's obvious he wouldn't get it if Sajfutdinov didn't get injured. He didn't deserve it.

would Poland of had a 73 world champ if mauger didn't fall? theres a question mark over virtually every years event!...woffy won the title twice sofar..FACT, gollob won it once...FACT

And that makes him young?

I didn't say Yankee is bad. He's actually way better than Woffinden. Doing 21 point maximum is impossible for Woffinden. He just does 8 points to get to final and then counts on a good start. Same like it was in Warsaw. Additionally GP series outside of Poland do favour starters like Woffinden since all those 1 day tracks made by Olsen usually have one path. Just win the start and stick to one path. No one will be able to pass you.

He got his 1st title handed to him for free. Sajfutdinov was out for almost half of the series and Woffinden had beat him just in the last event. He wouldn't stand a chance if not Emils accident. He didn't deserve it.

21 point max at last yr world cup? please check your facts!!!!!!

The records show that throughout the history of the World Championship, riders have profited from the misfortune of others. Tai may not have won 2 titles had Emil and Jarek not had their injury problems, but the fact is he is a double World champion which, statistically speaking, puts him on par with Peter Craven.

p.s.

I thought this thread was about Poland v Rest Of The World, not Gollob v Woffinden  .

This is a fact and no mistake.Since Jerzy was lucky to win the first title for Poland......

Denmark have won 13 titles

Sweden have won 8 titles

USA have won 7 titles

UK have won 6 titles

Australia have won 4 titles

Even New Zealand managed 2 titles

then we have the minnows of Germany + Poland who have both won 1 title each!!!!!!

Think enough have been said on the subject. When Poland can get above Germany and New Zealand then come back and talk to us about world speedway :P

freddie williams wales! think i got figs different, i make it 14 denmark and sweden, 12 new zealand 9 england??

Exactly this! That's what im talking about. BSI World Champion title means exactly that. A GP tournament series winner. Not best in the World. Best in the World aren't best thanks to others having bad luck :)

IVAN MAUGER HAD BAD LUCK IN 73!! whats your point???

Whoever is at the top of average score charts through the whole season in Ekstraliga (which is longer, harder and actually has better riders in it than the BSI's tournament) is the closest one to be called best in the world in a year. :)

For now The fastest rider i the World is Bartosz Zmarzlik(although he was faster than Tai even in GP) and since he is under 21 hes the fastest junior rider in the World too. :))

There are 12 GP rounds, somehow Woffinden always gets lucky to get in the final while Polish riders cant make a final on there own soil. Maybe your God just dont like Poles despite all the praying you do, I suggest you change your God for more luck.

By what criteria is Bartosz Szmarzlik judged to be the fastest rider in the world?.

The track record holder at Plymouth did not go particularly fast. The track record holder at sheffield did.

How fast was BS going and where did he set this World's fastest speedway rider record?.

when does the fastest make you the best? its more about throttle control I thought?

Nope its about luck and nationality. If you born to be Polish, unlucky but if you happen to be borned in Britain raised in Australia there is good chance you have the genetic disorder which scientist call the "speedway cell".

People who happened to have this disorder bound to be Speedway World Champions thanks to luck, gating technique and extra power to their motorbikes. Although there are many side affects like extreme affection to tattoes and water bottles, massive holes in your ears, anger problems, uncontrollable grinning, ginger hair etc.

Can I suggest that those arguing with the polish troll read the other thread started by him about Darcy Ward and just treat him with the contempt he so obviously deserves and don't feed his sickness by responding to him.

I made that mistake and regret it - please don't repeat my error.

Poland find themselves in a flux. They have lost Gollob but havent got his replacement. Hampel is a boring ride with little in the way of petsonality on or off a bike. Never be world champion.

Of the new up and comers, Zmarslik, Dudek look good but not at the level needed with any consistency. Janowski is very good but will he be a world beater? Not so sure but time will tell.

Lots of good riders on fast bikes, but not sure one will leap up to the next level of Gollobs class.

Bartosz better than Gollob at the same age
