Daniel Smith
KNEW a guy who bought his fish and chips there but drove all the way home to Surrey before eating them. How weird is that? I did something similar at Mildenhall once. Bought fish n chips in the stadium before meeting started, took them back to the car, watched the meeting, drove home then microdinged them. Were still the dogs

semion
Can only be a decent home win. All this krapo bout this riding missing. What a pile all that is. Poole at home, factor in the Middleitch 6/8 points and it's a cake walk. Or at least it should be
Sidney the robin
Looked at the race programme and looking at the heats Auty has a real tough ask tonight.Ellis even if fit and in decent form would of done well to score any tonight some real tough races. The Wolves top five is very good indeed, and with Howarth as well can see them getting 38/40 pts if not more tonight. scottyfan
Completely agree and I doubt we will get it. Poole are a very different animal on their home track. Kurtz will be dominant at reserve and Charles Wright is head and shoulders above Max Clegg. Holder won't be scoring 3pts in the home leg. Buckowski will score big as will Andersen. Really?? Holder has scored 8 against Lakeside and 6 against Coventry in his last two home matches, so he may well score as many as 3 tonight!!!! SCB
If Ellis is NOT a top 3 rider in terms of being being to book a guest that means that Bjarne must be then - so why are Poole using r/r?!
Bleeds Pirate Blue
Poole by 6-8. Hope the real Noddy turns up! If Ellis is NOT a top 3 rider in terms of being being to book a guest that means that Bjarne must be then - so why are Poole using r/r?! Poole getting "screwed" by the rules. Well, we can't be one step ahead all the time...
Steve Shovlar
Just had a good chat with Ellis in the pits. Feeling a bit beaten up on hus thinghs but hoping to ride on Saturday and if he gets through that will ride at Leicester. What a nice lad is is too. Havent seen Kyle Newman but he is out of hospital. Could be a while yet before he is back.
Wolfsbane
Howarth holds the key IMO. Like others I'd be happy with a draw, anything else would be a bonus. He's killing us at the moment.

poolebolton
Whoever said that Brady cannot turn a bike. Just well, thanks for that really nice comment about the future of Australian and Elite League Speedway. 12+1 says in all really doesn't it. I don't know why everyone was so angry after Monday. We should soon have the reserves back and if Bjarne hits some form well Chris Holder can score 9 that's fine with me.
R87
Pretty much what I expected, though Howarth very disappointing. Nobody will touch Poole down there. Just hope people don't get disheartened. Losing at Poole doesn't mean we've become a bad team over night.

Just hope people don't get disheartened. Losing at Poole doesn't mean we've become a bad team over night. Don't think Kyle Howarth has done anything at Poole since he left them. Just shows how strong Poole are at the Blue Groove with both their EDR riders missing & still beating a strong Wolves 1-5.

Steve Shovlar
To be honest the score flatters Wolves. In two heats Poole were home and dry on 5-1's when disaster struck. In the first Howarth fell in third and Thorsell laid it down. In the rerun he gated second and picked off Wright. In the other Holder and Hans were cruising on a 5-1 when Holder lost his steel shoe. Those 8 points would have brought it to 59-31. And Poole were a weakened side tonight with Auty nowhere near a point. Six points from Bjarnes rides. However it was an excellent and thrilling meeting with plenty of great races, none more so than when Lindgren and Masters tried to team ride Hans out. Brilliant stuff from the Poole captain to slice between them off bend four of the third lap. Also interesting to see that the centre green has been cut back on the 4th bend by at least a metre. The white line is still in the same place. Has a rider asked for this so he can put his front wheel over the line and cut around the inside better? So off we go to Leicester on Monday. Ellis is riding Saturday and will see how he feels but wants to ride. Kyle was interviewed and said he had sepsis and it was quite serious. He said he had never felt pain like it last Sunday night. Hoping to be back in a couple of weeks if all goes well.
Daniel Smith
Kyle had Sepsis? That is serious and extremely lucky it was picked up quickly. Lucky lucky young man. Hopefully he's now all cleared up and back fighting fit soon, wouldn't wish that on anyone
hagonshocker
Hans looking like a proper number one again and for Poole just as well with the way there so called top rider is performing...best wishes to Kyle, sepsis?, f**k a duck
foreverblue
Thats one race and if confidence is high then that can happen. Ellis isnt as good as Newman i dont think and Kyle is a second string in a premier league side. So there is no way Adam Ellis is a premier league number 1 and so therefore isnt in the same bracket as Auty. As ive also said Ellis is improving and is a loss especially at home. Ellis at 3 and Newman at reserve would probably get around 11-13 points and i wouldnt expect much different from Wright and Auty tonight Good job Auty isn't in the same bracket as Ellis!!
SteveLyric2
Talking to Kyle and his dad tonight and it seems that Kyle was mis-diagnosed initially at his local hospital and as a consequence was not prescribed strong enough anti-biotics. Hence his extreme pain and being taken into B'mth Hospital where he was properly diagnosed, but by which time his 'bleed' had turned into early stage sepsis. Extra strong anti-biotics became the order of the day along with fluids to flush out the infection. When asked when he would be back, the answer was 'when he feels ready'! But I think his target is for the Brit semi final on 15th. As for Chris Holder he was utterly dejected in the interviews at the end. Despite scoring 9 points (would have been paid 12 if not for losing his steel shoe!) he still has issues with his machinery without knowing exactly what is going wrong. Overall there was some great racing tonight on a differently prepared track as Track Curator Gerald was required at Lakeside.
