jenga
Haha, where is he. He didn't go to the Moanarchs postponed match against Redcar did he? Not even a man from Inveresk would do that surely? Dare I ask what those circumstances are J? I have my own opinion. that would be the F/X WITHDRAWN circumstances alongside Mr kings name . must surely have been good for another 9/10 points .. to lose a number 1 in his 2nd ride would have had a negative effect on team moral . Gavan
This team not cutting it but Nico had 2 shockers I'm sure he will sort that out. Hard to be harsh on Kerr but he is struggling and Richings is not scoring enough. Paco doing a lot better and hopefully he can keep banging in 5 or 6 but if his partner getting 0 or 1 it doesn't help. To me the only rider doing his job is Risager solid 8 every week. Another sensible post from Mr J - are you not feeling yourself at the moment? Oh, just re-read what I wrote, so maybe don't answer that . Yes, could've made a difference to the end scoreline, and maybe seeing DK scoring well would've inspired the other six a bit, but a Loss with a capital 'L', is still a Loss. The only way is up - hopefully. how is life in Jenga world? Gee, have the Comets really not got a home match between 23 April and 14 May? That's even more spread out than the Foxhall Fixtures. Sorry macca - still recovering from LoD. Didn't paco do well!! Is Kerr's jaiket oan a shoogly peg? Ahh, LOD, that explains it, of course. If I ever play golf again, I will definitely not trust my Caddy now. Yes, Monsignor Castagna bambino did ok tonight. I am beginning to worry about his reserve partner though and may be starting my 'James Shanes In' campaign in a vigorous fashion soon - well, as vigorously as I can these days, which is more 'orous' without much 'vig'. I dinnae ken whit ye mean, pol. But I do think that Lewi Kerr would be better off on GMs rather than Jawas.

Classic!!

Najjer
Just got back from this meeting & to be honest Ipswich did better than the score suggests I don't think they did, apart from King in heat 1 and Castagna and 1 good ride by Sargeant to hold off Allen they were very poor. Obviously with King the score would of been closer but it still would of been a right hiding. Don't forget it was looking like a 5-1 at the time when King plowed into the back straight fence too. Classic!! I did point out that I was not there and was going by Statto's excellent descriptions of the races. As Naj has pointed out King was on the wrong end of a 1-5 when he came down so you are assuming maybe he would have recovered to share the heat had he not fallen. There are other riders like Kerr , Covatti and Risinger who should have scored more and been more competitive I think from a witches point of view. I see Covatti had a big off in the match the previous day which may have hindered him although nothing was said regarding this. If you award 9 points to Danny the witches still lose by 12, take off the tac and it is 14. Your opinion was by losing by 30 that wasn't so bad, on my opinion it was, hardly "classic". Kerr and Richings are the bigger issue and Sarjeant only had 2 decent meeting. Nico will get it right. Risager so far the only team member doing his job.
ZODIAK
Ritchings is struggling to score a point even at home where he's had a few meetings now. If you can't even beat the opposition NL 3 pointer at home then you have to start looking elsewhere unfortunately.

Looking at the witches from the outside I reckon him and Kerr will probably be rotating the number 3 slot as form dictates. Personally never been convinced about Sarjeant, as for Ritchings a tough learning curve, I would have been surprised if he had troubled the scorers last night.

Najjer
To be fair as bad as it might look that Ipswich was, I think it was more just how dominate Somerset was. Jake Allen's last place in heat 1 was the only last place the whole top 5 had all night. We are going to be very very difficult to beat at home it seems this year, Tungate has two maximums in a row now at the OTA including the Plymouth challenge match so he has it all Sussex pretty quickly. Add in Wilson Dean who looks superb and great entertainment too.
screm
Never know what happens to Ipswich, every season they put together a very capable team, a team that should be challenging for trophies, sadly for them it never works out that. The answer must be there somewhere.

Great result for Debbie and Garry's boys, but I expect it was another of those boring one-sided meetings that 'you don't get in the PL', eh Gav??! Well done the Rebels, terrific result!!
