Belle Vue Colts V Stoke 29 April, 2016.

The track is ready but the weather forecasts for today and tomorrow doesn't make it look hopeful that the match will be on.

No idea how the Colts will do, not followed NL since our last involvement. Just hoping that the forecasts are wrong and that we at last get some speedway at the NSS.

Bewley is by far the stand out reserve on show and with it being R/R for Payne, I can see 7 rides for Dan and a good enough score from him to give the Colts the victory. However with this being KOC, I find it surprising that BV don't want to build up a good lead and haven't brought in a guest for Payne because Stoke look to have a stronger top 2 in Wilson and Atkin than Williamson (who has started the year very well, I must add) and Shuttleworth.

The track could be a leveller, given the previous issues and the fact that it is the first meeting at the NSS. Atkins and Wilson have bucket loads of experience and that could see them well, especially if track conditions are tricky. Williamson and Bewley will score most of the Belle Vue points I'd imagine, hard to call though.

Though not a close follower of NL speedway, I'm really looking forward to following the Colts fortunes this season, starting with the visit of Stoke tomorrow night.

After previously watching Jason Garrity & Kyle Howarth in Colts fixtures, be interesting to see who, if any, of the current crop might follow in their tyre tracks. Read a lot of positive comments about Dan Bewley, will be fun to watch his progress as the season goes on.

No idea what the score might be, but after all the dramas surrounding the track let's just hope there's a healthy turnout to back both teams & get speedway in 2016 here in Manchester up & running.

Just £10 to get in and under 18's go free...

Be a good few there I reckon....

How do you think the attendance for the Belle Vue Colts v Stoke match will compare with those attending your neighbours at Belle Vue on Bank Holiday Monday? Here's what they are offering: http://www.startrax.info/Meetings/Preview/2016/05/02/Belle%20Vue

Not sure why you comparing the Colts, Colt is tomorrow night. Aces v Kings Lynn on Monday lunchtime and I expect a very large crowd of 3000-4000 probably if the weather is ok.

Thank you Rob B. I didn't realise there was a senior Belle Vue match on Bank Holiday Monday. The possible attendance for that could be more than for the stock cars later in the day IMO.

Here's Monday's weather forecast...!

If it was just F1 stock Cars and F2 stocks you would get a couple of thousand for a "domestic" but with the addition of the caravan destruction derby for the bank holiday crowds both Speedway and stock cars could have a busy day. Tbf if I was local it would be a perfect double header.
