Popular Post Crazy robin
What a joke that Paul Starke's early season form & progress into the top 5 earned him the privilege of being taken out of his last ride tonight. To be replaced by Nicolai Klindt a foreign rider shows what a joke this sport has become. There should've been a rule that meant if a reserve moved up he MUST have his 4 rides or is that too much to ask?.
heathen chemistry
if the rule was that they HAD to complete all the 4 rides some teams would feign an injury to get IRR
SteveLyric2
Unless the reserve in question is good enough to hold their own ???!! Starke, like Ellis is a Tier 2 EDR which points to why the rule should only apply to Tier 1 EDRs as was originally proposed.
racers and royals
Rosco in today`s Speedway star is quoted as saying " the promoting of the draft rider into the team was rushed through at the AGM " and also he says " it was the worst AGM for a long time " BRILLIANT !!!!!
SCB
Rosco in today`s Speedway star is quoted as saying " the promoting of the draft rider into the team was rushed through at the AGM " and also he says " it was the worst AGM for a long time " BRILLIANT !!!!! Thats actually an impressive achievement Bear in mind 2010 and how two clubs nearly closed down and only a few short years later you might have an EL without either soon Edited April 28, 2016 by SCB
Daniel Smith
Rosco in today`s Speedway star is quoted as saying " the promoting of the draft rider into the team was rushed through at the AGM " and also he says " it was the worst AGM for a long time " BRILLIANT !!!!! Keith Chapman said exactly the same thing. Saying if he'd of been chairman for this season he'd of shredded all plans and started again. Woz01
With Horton also disillusioned with things that have happened you begin to wonder who actually voted for these daft regulations!
Daniel Smith
With Horton also disillusioned with things that have happened you begin to wonder who actually voted for these daft regulations! Thing is, Chapman said it straight after the AGM how he'd of done it very differently. Promoters saying now it wasn't them just look like they're just trying to remove themselves from blame. If so many Promoters were 'disillusioned' after the AGM why on earth was it not recalled?!? They all had plenty of time to fix the EDR problems from day 1.
hyderd
Look at the 2 Poole reserves, as much as I dislike the fella he knows what he's doing. 4 heat leaders, 1 very good second string and the best 2 reserves in the league.

And all compiled within a framework that it would appear all of a sudden no one voted in....! Uncanny from Mr Ford.... (Again)..... SteveLyric2
I thought the AGM was in 2 parts - with a couple of weeks in between - so that promoters could have time to consider all the proposals and correct any anomalies before approving or changing them. That's certainly what happened with the EDR ruling.........

That's certainly what happened with the EDR ruling......... They do and even usually have a pre agm as well, so plenty of time to think through ideas, I wonder how they can go so wrong. heathen chemistry
if its true as roscoe said it was rushed through at the last second, you have to ask by whom? what promoters wanted it rushed in , and which ones didnt... also we were as fans being led to believe that promoters have meetings mid-season to decide whats going to happen for next season so surely arent the purpose of these meetings to get things sorted early so theres no need to rush things or change things at the last minute, as changing things at the last minute can be deemed as some promoters trying to scupper the team building plans of other teams and we know what happens when they do that.... another point about this being rushed, was it done after garrity decided he was going top 5 , and after the draft riders were decided ? something doesnt sound right... mdmc82
Looking at new averages due to come in to effect 2nd May, Wright has already dropped his average from 6.60 to 5.67 after a short stint in the top 5 Paul Starke's average has also dropped. However both will stay in the main team because there is a rider with a low assessed average.

A ORLOV
This is getting ridiculous, with so many changes so often we will not have a clue who is riding where until you are at the track waiting for the announcement of the team, soon you will get a blank prog to fill in the riders yourself .
