mrscambelt
Went to West Row yesterday and i have to say just to watch Adam, personally i think he is top draw and box office and i think no matter what happens he is racing for Eastbourne, the rule allowed it Adam said yes so thats the end of the story for me. Looking at it from another side of the coin have a look at Ellis Perks he was racing away for Plymouth and only scored 2 points so the night before where won all the races where he finished would have done he head in with the ups and downs of speedway, no looking at Adam he is playing it the right way he will have a good run at Eastbourne where his confedence is high and will carry that onto Poole and Eastbourne will get that in return so its a win win situation for all the clubs involved. The problem is that Adam was asked to do PL and turned it down because of the problems he encountered with Ipswich ? Have to say if Eastbourne could find another reserve then i think they will be high out the water but i think waiting for Tom Brennan will be a little bit too late in July. TurnTwo
Adam Ellis the debate continues ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Clearly Mr.Easter still has the hump after the man he denied to race in the NL helped turn his team over Lol
mrscambelt
James Easter he is the sponsor of the NL i think he would be over the moon that someone as good at Adam Ellis is racing in the league that he is good enough to sponsor, Its a big selling point for him as i am sure he must do a tour of the U21 a selling point for Mr Easter, Hope he is not trying to throw away the U21 UK team because of how good adam is? i am sure Mr Easter was at West Row at the weekend and i can only assume that it would be to see Adam Race
Sings4Speedway
As good as Adam is he is also there to be beaten and it will give riders who get one over on him (like Halsey yesterday) a nice confidence boost. Anyway big well done to Mildenhall on running Eastbourne close over the two legs and getting the home win. Form like that will see them have a decent season. I suspect that Luke Ruddick might be slightly nervous about getting his place back? For Eastbourne Knight seems to be really getting dialed in now and could be the season he delivers upon his potential. Reserves still seem to be the thorn in the side though. Powell is proving that his lack of Speedway experience is costly, Phillips in the wars again and now openly advertising for anyone who wants to do the away trip to Buxton............i mean seriously who would volunteer to go to Buxton! mrscambelt
Philips wont be there due to his concussion, Strudwick is not good enough charley powell is not really getting it on at the moment he is not a george wood, George has now started to find a little bit of form. I think if Perks was in the side then maybe the score would have been different. But i guess looking at it from the promotion side a win is a win and the cost of the win in afforadble unlike the score at Rye House for Birmingham. i am starting to feel the love for the NL but thats since Adam has Joined but i do find it hard to get my head around Adam Ellis and Ellis perks to names you may not come across but 2 names in the same team.

Countershaftcounter
Agree needs to brought to an end. I said this a few days ago but somebody just won't leave it alone! Unfortunately it will be talked about whenever he scores well, usually by the same people who are jealous that he didn't sign for their team.

Jonny the spud
It's funny how people are "advised" without knowing the full facts but love to give their opinion anyway. i've been sitting opposite Adam and seen stuff online that someone "in the know" had "reliably been informed" about that was pure fiction and we've laughed over it. Remember, what you've been told / read is nine times out of ten opinion and not fact. All these offers over riders/clubs/money/sponsorship/ are between the riders and clubs and mostly don't come off because of clashes of calenders / international commitments etc, but that doesn't stop people putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 Now you know why I only come on here once in a blue moon …..… I'm out of here
Speedway28
I was another who's main reason to go to West Row yesterday was to watch Adam Ellis. The rules allow it and I don't see the issue personally. Dan Halsey beating him in heat 1 shows that he will lose races. I'm sure the Mildenhall top three would've been looking forward to trying to get one over on him. Very impressive start for Sam Bebee, looking calm and composed. Think Mildenhall will do ok this year but might struggle away from home. Think Charley Powell will get better once he learns to overtake. Had the pace on Bebee a couple of times yesterday but just couldn't get past.
Countershaftcounter
I've rated Ellis for quite a while and have travelled to meetings to watch him in the last couple of seasons. If Eastbourne have broken no rules and it puts a few extra bums on seats, where's the problem ?
Alex2000
There is no problem just certain people like to have an argument. I think it's great to have an entertainer in the team and having Brad instead of Ellis this year would have been much the same he would rarely be beaten. Common trend is the people who don't like us having Ellis don't like us having BWD or spiller

Common trend is the people who don't like us having Ellis don't like us having BWD or spiller Don't think that's completely true, I was against you using BWD last year as he isn't a Brit so shouldn't have been in the NL in my opinion, not to open that can of worms again though! However Ellis is eligible and so is Spiller so I'd have no issue with either of those.
gazzac
There isn't one, don't normally watch the first round of the KO cup, tend to further on through the rounds, the combination of the lack of speedway and Adam Ellis now riding for us made the decision for 3 of us to go where we might not have. I was pointing more to Len silver and others but it was ok for BWD until the rule changes.

My information is that Len Silver is a big fan of BWD was all set to sign him for this years Rockets side until he parted ways with Rye House. Halifaxtiger
Surely opposing fans will celebrate like mad if their rider beats Ellis. Wasn't at Mildenhall - but were the home fans pleased with the ht 1 result? Spot on - and yes they were.
Little Nicki
If its not about money, what is it that motivates a rider to compete in a league that is, by everyone's opinion, way below his ability ? Track time ? Against the likes of Sam Bebee, Jack Thomas and Tyler Govier ? You must be having a laugh. If we talking Lionel Messi, this is somewhere near him signing for Preston North End. Doubt very much if he would do that because I suspect he wants to play at the highest level possible. If they paid him double his present contract he might, though. According to James Easter, Ellis has been offered contracts by 3 PL clubs and refused them all. What is more likely to help him 'aspire to something', riding against the above or competing with Lambert, Stead and King ? As I said, its his choice and, frankly, I don't have a problem with him riding in the NL. If he does want to get on, though, I simply don't understand why he is doing so. Great Post, HT and totally agree Adam Ellis the debate continues ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Why shouldn't it? Instead of posting lots of Z's, like gazzac, why not start another subject to debate then? Your post just continues the debate, so has the reverse affect to what you wanted. Clearly Mr.Easter still has the hump after the man he denied to race in the NL helped turn his team over Lol James 'denied' Adam to race in the NL? Does that even make any sense? And Mildenhall is not 'his' team - he doesn't own it or promote it. James Easter he is the sponsor of the NL i think he would be over the moon that someone as good at Adam Ellis is racing in the league that he is good enough to sponsor, Its a big selling point for him as i am sure he must do a tour of the U21 a selling point for Mr Easter, Hope he is not trying to throw away the U21 UK team because of how good adam is? i am sure Mr Easter was at West Row at the weekend and i can only assume that it would be to see Adam Race Well, he's not, over the moon. Are you a Troll, or just not know anything about NL speedway? James Easter was not at West Row simply to watch Adam Race - (and who is Adam Race anyway?) Agree needs to brought to an end. I said this a few days ago but somebody just won't leave it alone! I didn't re-ignite the debate this time, HT did Unfortunately it will be talked about whenever he scores well, usually by the same people who are jealous that he didn't sign for their team. I'm not jealous and I don't have a NL team. I'm just disappointed in Adam's regressive decision to drop back down into the NL
