hackneyrocket
Cracking heat 15. Almost worth enduring the mediocre 14 heats before it. That's not really fair on Rob Branford who's always great entertainment at this level. Very low crowd, around 200 I'd say. The £15 50/50 raffle prize says it all Brummie reserves look decent The crowd size is a bit different than last season then?Andrew Silver made all the difference last year, one of finds coming back to haunt us! Bryn
Brummie fans wanna count themselves lucky they're not part of a Rye PL/NL double header with no fixed start time if the PL part of the meeting overruns. Is there a more inconvenient away meeting than IOW? Tuesday night overseas with awful transport links. Shads, go to the Wightlink Warriors website at: http://www.wightwarriors.co/ where, under the travel section updated details on travel arrangements put in place by the new duo in charge including a discount available if taking the car ferry over and a taxi service to and from the stadium if travelling to Ryde Pier on the catamaran foot passenger service. Shadders
The crowd size is a bit different than last season then? Andrew Silver made all the difference last year, one of finds coming back to haunt us! Could be the weather which looked a bit iffy, or the fact the tie was dead after the first leg. I don't think having what is effectively a 3 man team helps either. waco
McCauley Leek to my surprise in his first meeting proved to be the pick of the Rye rookies and should be persivered with at the exspense of Lock or Bowdrey in my opinion ,How long we can expect 3 riders to carry the team i do not know Hopefully Hunter should be back soon Ben Morley and Rob Branford provided the little bit of excitement for the Raiders fans, that im afraid are likely to look thin on the ground befor long without some improvement from the bottom end.. Little Nicki
Thanks for the info Bryn, but with an 18 month old kid in tow it's a journey I'm very reluctant to make, especially on a weekday. Alert the authorities. Shads' 18 month old kid is not allowed in the family car. It is being towed... And you're up at the crack of Dawn, at 5 am, then Shads? Does your missus know about Dawn - or your smelly (odious) character? Genuine Question: Is Branford now too good for the NL and would his development be served better in a 'higher' league? Shadders
Genuine Question: Is Branford now too good for the NL and would his development be served better in a 'higher' league? Hard to tell after one meeting. Don't be surprised if he's picked up by a PL side very soon. I'll gloss over the rest of that nonsense post if you don't mind.

waco
Remember Branford would have to replace a No6 cant ride as a 3point national league rider..Having said that he would definatly be better than Karger at Rye House but they would have a lot of points to play with if Karger left ,,,though i do not see that happening in the near future,, as they will give the lad every opportunity to improve Edited April 25, 2016 by waco
