orion
I really do not know what all the fuss is about ! Why not follow the example of hundreds, perhaps thousands of others and find something rather more sensible/appropriate/rewarding to spend your time and money on? But still post on a forum on a sport you don't waste your time on ?
BluPanther
As pointed out, it means Newman stays in reserve as the #7 has to be an EDR, Kurtz swaps with Kurtz while Bjarne and Buzz will ride as second strings. Once Kurtz completed 4 home and 4 away (currently 9th away) he'll get a new average 7 days later (so the 16th) which could see him over take Bjarne -and potentially by then Bjarne could have over taken Buzz and even Holder! I can see some serious average manipulation going on pre the play offs. That's why Garrity should have started at reserve...

It could be hard to fiddle for the play-offs as 20 meetings is a lot, you'd need to start throwing meetings pretty soon!
mdmc82
I'm surprised this meeting isn't off yet looking at the weather forecast and it being on sky http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/u12k15uws#?fcTime=1461715200 http://m.bbc.co.uk/weather/2645456/tomorrow Edited April 26, 2016 by mdmc82
Star Lady
2 miles from track we have had a few wintry showers but a fair amount of sunny spells and near gale force winds, so no residual dampness . It will all depend on what we get tomorrow.
Daniel Smith
But still post on a forum on a sport you don't waste your time on ? Still has a right to an opinion as a fan lost to the sport that's forever dwindling year on year. I've only been once this year to King's Lynn through illness. That's made me realise I don't miss it, only attending through habit. I too have a right to an opinion

SteveLyric2
The BSPA MC have decided that as Robson has an EL average from 2014/15 (even though no EL place this season), they have blocked the move even though the rule to allow a 6pt PL rider is correct!!!?? Josh Bates steps in for Wednesday New averages (Issue 8 today) are now an the BSPA website and give the new averages mostly for commencement Monday 2nd May. This should see Ellis go into the 1-5 in place of Kurtz who will drop to reserve. Ellis, Holder and Andersen should be heat leaders (ie. 1,3 & 5) with Bjarne and Buzz as 2nd strings - at least for the Wolves meetings!! stevebrum
Sorry my mistake read the wrong article......its possibly Simon Stead guesting, yet to be confrimed at least it's been made clear now. Crystal clear now... http://www.poolepirates.co/news/20160426_kings-lynn-v-poole-preview.html below them or any PL British Rider that has a lower PL Average than the missing rider. As [/size] As expected there is an explanation, always last minute.com tho. True but some clearly were accusing Poole of cheating and bending the rules. However from past experience the word apology doesnt appear in their vocabulary. From past experience missing match reports from 2010 won't appear either.

Once again it shows the absurdity of the rules initially allowing a 40 year-old to replace an FTR rider until they were properly checked. This is a sport not a trade agreement. The rules should not be this unclear and difficult to interpret! Edited April 26, 2016 by rmc

Gavan
Now thats been cleared up I hope all the people on here saying Poole were cheating or bending the rules will have the courtesy to apologise. It was obvious Poole were not cheating but the usual suspects just cant help themselves. Time and again egg splatters over their faces. so it was all above bored was it???? Now who has egg on his face. Yet again Poole tried it on and thought they knew the rules better than anyone an oops they got it wrong!!! Brilliant you couldn't make it up. We will await our apologies Mr Shovlar. Poole couldn't use Robson and have now brought in Bates. But that Matt Ford never tried to get away with anything!!
brewer
So the new chairman is no different to the old one in overiding/ignoring a rule to suit his own team.
