semion
With Watt Living with Middlo you would think the Team manager would have said to matt, Hey Fordie lets give the lad more than 4 meetings to get himself out of a slump, after all he has been a loyal servant to us, even as far as when he was riding for other clubs. No deal from Matt, he wants the Elite League Crown that everything else goes out of the window. Then Next season when he has the chance to mix it with the big Boys of Europe he wont want to know again, as he cant win that one. Still the likes of Shovvy, Starman etc will still be brown nosing around everything Ford. Happy Days.

Because no rider, no matter who they are, has a god given right to a team place for the season. While other clubs ponder, Ford takes action. As Matt said, it was affecting his business and there was a window of opportunity. Losing doesnt go down well with Poole sponsors.
BluPanther
Ask the BSPA. They make the rules....not Matt Ford. I'm aware of that, i was just asking as i had not seen anything to indicate it was an option. Just a simple question, not an attack on anyone in any shape or form... Gavan
Lewis Rose is out for Kings Lynn and is apparantly being replaced by either Lasse Bjerre or NIco Covatti
SCB
Surely the rules insist that there are 2 FTRs in the team - whether they are riding at heat leader or not?? In my scenario Poole would still have Newman and Ellis as EDRs but Ellis could be, quite legally, replaced by 9 point EL guests (ie, anyone apart from Doyle and Iversen)
Shale Searcher
It's just like the Carl Wilkinson scenario from last season....!!
stevebrum
What rule are they breaking? where in the rules does it say you can use a 39 year old to replace a EDR? ? As usual the rules aren't clear. I am assuming the rules that applied last year apply this year but there is no clarity from the governing body. That's an attack at the governing body NOT Poole. Lewis Rose is out for Kings Lynn and is apparantly being replaced by either Lasse Bjerre or NIco Covatti How on earth can a PL heat leader who isn't British replace a British EDR rider?? What a farce that's getting more farcial with every day. Again, where are the rules on this?

LisaColette
ok I'm going to try again and see if you can understand my post this time. You MAY be right with the scoreline. BUT if you think Poole are weaker with Robson then I will say again it's a trolling post looking for a response or showing a lack of intellect. I hope that's in plain English this time for you as I would hate for you to ask for an apology yet again. Be interesting if Robbo gets 7 or 8 and you lose because then who do you blame? Why do we have to blame anyone? Maybe KL will ride better and deserve it? Charles Wright, Or it might be Wilbur or Orville.... Then again if not Orville it might be Keith Harris.. (RIP)

SteveLyric2
SCB Rule 17.3.6. states that for EDRs, a grading list will be updated and include a Tier One guest list!! So the Grading list and the info on the latest list is 'part of the rules'. (As MF has confirmed in today's meeting preview!!) Alan_Jones
You better look on the SCB website and you will find the regulations(rulebook).Nothing in there suggests you can use a British PL rider with a lower average than the one he is replacing from the PL averages. So appears to be illegal. The Regs say the EDR lists will have a list of eligible guests. The last published EDR list had the additional rule about PL guests which, in effect, is an addition to the list so no problem. Silly idea, but not illegal.
BluPanther
Crystal clear now... http://www.poolepirates.co/news/20160426_kings-lynn-v-poole-preview.html below them or any PL British Rider that has a lower PL Average than the missing rider. Star Lady
Would it not make for clarity, when announcing guests, r/r etc the appropriate regulation number is quoted. Wouldn't cause any extra work cos the club involved would have to have found it in the first place. Would certainly stop a lot of ill informed speculation.
