King's Lynn V Poole 27/4/16 7.30pm (skysports)

Would it not make for clarity, when announcing guests, r/r etc the appropriate regulation number is quoted. Wouldn't cause any extra work cos the club involved would have to have found it in the first place. Would certainly stop a lot of ill informed speculation.

Would be nice if some of the :icon_smile_clown: s on here would stop jumping to conclusions and permantly speculating that Matt cheats. He knows the rules better than most..

I agree for the last 7 or 8 years Matt Ford has played by the rules every single time.

I have no idea why people just can see him for what he is. The man is a legend and a god.

Why people feel the need to jump to conclusions is beyond me. I mean when someone has never done anything underhand before it seems ridiculous that people question things he does.

We know that or otherwise he wouldn't be so good at bending them. :D

I really do not know what all the fuss is about ! Why not follow the example of hundreds, perhaps thousands of others and find something rather more sensible/appropriate/rewarding to spend your time and money on?

How to improve crowds, tell them not to come?!!! Lol. Yes that will help matters. 🙈

What is Pirates full lineup for tomorrow? I'm confused a bit as someone said Ellis @#3 now and Kurtz dropped to reserve.

Latests Green Sheets on BSPA still have Ellis on 3.00 ave:

http://speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/el16_issue_7.pdf

Newman moves into the 1-5 on Friday. Then Ellis moves into the 1-5 on Sunday. Both will be #1 in the averages so will have to ride at 1,3 or 5. Totally irrelevant for Newman as Poole don't have a meeting on Friday or Saturday.

Crystal clear now...

below them or any PL British Rider that has a lower PL Average than the missing rider. As

Now thats been cleared up I hope all the people on here saying Poole were cheating or bending the rules will have the courtesy to apologise.

It was obvious Poole were not cheating but the usual suspects just cant help themselves. Time and again egg splatters over their faces.

So does that mean Brady and Krzysztof move to the reserves and can have 7 rides each.

TBF some of us were just asking how it was allowed to happen. Not everyone had accused Poole or Ford of doing anything dodgy..

True but some clearly were accusing Poole of cheating and bending the rules. However from past experience the word apology doesnt appear in their vocabulary.

Sorry if I have offended your sensitive nature Shovvy, but please be rest assured it will happen again. As for Poole twisting, bending, changing the rules.... Nah don't matter we are use to it by now. Its a bit like night following day. They use to say there were 2 things in this life you could be sure of. Death and taxes.... Matty has now made it 3. :D

As SCB says, Newman's brief move is irrelevant. When Ellis moves up, Newman drops back down because the #7 always has to be an EDR.

Not quite irrelevant as it means we have Brady at reserve with the option for seven rides.

If, by chance, there was an interesting party, willing to plough some much needed funds into this sport, and thought about looking into the subject: Good Idea!!, Search Google, then See British. Speedway Forum, that should be the place to get some idea of how the sport is doing.

God help them.. and we wonder why the sport don't attract the right backers....

Going through the previous 15 pages you actually realise the state this sport is in. Its all but dead.. There's nothing left worth arguing about... and as for spending £17 to go and watch.. forget it.......

So does that mean Brady and Krzysztof move to the reserves and can have 7 rides each.

As pointed out, it means Newman stays in reserve as the #7 has to be an EDR, Kurtz swaps with Kurtz while Bjarne and Buzz will ride as second strings. Once Kurtz completed 4 home and 4 away (currently 9th away) he'll get a new average 7 days later (so the 16th) which could see him over take Bjarne -and potentially by then Bjarne could have over taken Buzz and even Holder!
