Trees
Went to watch the premiere in Lynn tonight, Addicted to Speed, the Rory Schlein Story by TooFastFilms. Was a pretty emotional story for Rory to tell of course but came away with nothing but respect for him. Some great footage, really shows the journey these guys take after a bad injury. Everyone must watch it, Rory should be proud to have made it, a real insight. It will be on TooFastFilms YouTube channel I believe.

The Voice Of Reason
One of the nicest, friendliest guys in this sport. A real trier who has always given every ounce of effort whilst guesting for the claret & blue. Along with PK, also I'd imagine, one of the most respected riders of recent times across all supporters. As a rider, very fair and an entertainer. Some of the new breed could learn from his persona alone.
LunnasPerm
Is this a movie or a series? Someone mentioned episodes. I still remember Schlein making his debut at Ashfield, guesting for us. I'm sure it was 2002 and back then, 16 year-olds would turn-up wearing hand-me-downs, like Kenny McKinna's kevlars from 1996 or James Grieves' orange Wolves costume. Not Schlein, he had the full, brand new Bhuna. Purple and yellow, if I remember correctly. He was excellent and dare I say, lightyears ahead of the 16 year-olds I've seen recently when he was at that age. He nicked a point on the last bend, I'll never forget that, but he also wheelied onto his backside at the start line. You could see that he had potential and I was gutted when I found out he was an Edinburgh asset. He progressed very quickly and although I haven't been a regular for a few years, it looks like stepping-up to the Elite League halted his progress. I honestly thought he would be a Grand Prix rider one day.
Trees
He had the whole film premiered at the cinema in Lynn but the company who filmed it are putting it on YouTube in sections. You say about how you thought Rory would've been a GP rider, he actually mentions in the film how injuries over the years have hampered his progress, hurts him big time. pawel115
I think Rory said on his FB page that youtube movie is divided into 7 parts to be added 1 per week on Mondays.
