I have an idea - Would it be too sad to have a thread in "Years Gone by" dedicated to randomly selected programmes from the past, with full rider scores as above?

Or randomly by year? say about .....1967?  :D

What about a 30 years ago today or something?

anyone got the full scores for August 6th 1974,Wimbledon 55-Swindon 23 ;)

Come on then Kev Canterbury August 6th 1974 knowing my luck it was rained off even in August!

No meeting that day Shazz, but on the 8th we were at Long Eaton and lost 34-44.

Scorers for Canterbury:-

Dave Gooderham 10

Uncle Ted 8

Les Rumsey 6

Barney Kennett 5

Derek Cook 2

Jimmy Squibb 2

Dave Emery 1

Impressed or what Shazz???

With thanks to a certain other slider.
