Guest albeeback
Have to give a mention to Bob Valentine. When Bob moved from Sheffield to Coventry, a friend, a Tigers fan, took me along to see him. That was my first experience of speedway. Going off on a tangent, Peter Prinsloo was a great guest for the Bees around that time. He used to fly around Brandon. Booey on one of Peter's bikes was even quicker .... Guest SwineTown
Grachan - great score line - get those maximums! Crumpy ruled. WOt a geezer. I have an idea - Would it be too sad to have a thread in "Years Gone by" dedicated to randomly selected programmes from the past, with full rider scores as above? Or randomly by year? say about .....1967?
bucket
How about this for a score chart - Swindon v Halifax, Friday 8 April 1977. [7. David Ashby 3-0-2' 5+1 Blooming reserves let us down!! Halifax must have been extremely crap if David Ashby managed to score 5+1, but as usual he still managed to let the side down by scoring the only zero in the team, bless his heart!
