BWitcher
Yet a lot of Brits don't like Hamilton's attitude and won't support him and same goes for Andy Murray in tennis. So why should I support Tai if I don't like his attitude? A 'lot'? A hell of lot more support Hamilton and Andy Murray than don't when it comes to British fans. What you should be saying is a 'minority' of fans.. usually those who are jealous or don't like winners.

So why should I support Tai if I don't like his attitude? I've never said people should support Woffinden because he's British (Australian to some ) but the argument is; he alone is causing damage to British Speedway because he doesn't race the local league. That just isn't the case & is total rubbish. People can support whoever they so wish. I was a huge Pedersen fan too but that's gone out the window since he started dating that plastic fantastic. Funny how things make us dislike someone isn't it

robert72
Mate you have issues i suggest you seek some help. 1.) lived there most of his life so no issue with that 2.) ok maybe a bit disrespectful 3.) How has he stuck 2 fingers up?? Maybe he should ride here and not try like Holder. Take a look and see how many top riders ride here!! 4.) Lol how many times do you need to be told about where the final fits into the gp calender!! 5.) How? By scoring heavily in the last World Cup and providing this country with 2 world titles 6.) Irrelevent 1) doesn't make it right 2) very disrespectful 3) he is British & should ride here 4) should of been seeded but it's the same for bomber 5) should be left out now 6) Ben fund is very important, he found time to ride in Austrailian Darcy ward meeting but not for the British riders ? The bloke is full of excuses and badly advised

SPEEDY69
Or maybe he knew who he was. Ah, thats that Stevebrum from the British forum, igranant git... I personally feel it won't matter what british speedway does now, the big boys will not come back to earn a pittance over here compared to what they can earn in Poland Sweden and the GP'S. That to me has killed it. I agree with your point about money, race night and track standards are red herrings in my view. However, when you say the 'big boys' does this include the current second placed man who could only muster a paltry 3 points at Wolves in what many describe as a weak EL - maybe they're not so big after all. Badly advised is laughable, Darcy Ward was badly advised, Woffinden is a multiple world champion so his advisors must be shocking Do us all a favour pal and shut up

ColinMills
im not woffys biggest fan, but at the age of 40 he will be sunbathing on a beach somewhere (maybe oz) while us mugs are working 40+ hours a week!

I think once he quits 2 wheels he'll go for the Aussie Sprint Cars. You're right, he'll definitely have a lot of things we can only dream of

If he continues to ride in the same viene he won't be classed as one...Imo he's taking on far to much, and in speedway terms he's not yet, classed as a veteran he's not getting any younger. stevebrum
I have no concern what the Aussies do but I do care about the state of British speedway and tai is not helping and has little care for British fans. the same Tai who is running training schools in the UK and trying to drag the BSPA into the real world you mean? Thank god somebody cares about its future and we have Tai to thank for that. Or maybe he knew who he was. Ah, thats that Stevebrum from the British forum, igranant git... Or just shows him up as the arrogant oaf he really is I'd say The bloke is full of excuses and badly advisedSo you keep saying however his dedication to winning 2 titles in be 3 years , trying to get the BSPA to listen to what ALL the top riders want and need and now also running training schools over here proves you wrong everytime. I don't see Bomber or Scottie doing that. That's what a true Brit does, hopefully he will get honoured at the end of the season as well. if we had more like Tai looking towards the future we might be in a much better place by now. Instead we have Scottie who can't be bothered to ride in the WC but now will make a comeback probably now the WC is in the country. What a hypocrite if he does. If more riders were open like Tai we would have a better WC team by now. Edited May 3, 2016 by stevebrum
New Science
Not ridiculous at all. Woffinden has a lot of backing from UK fans purely on the basis of the GP's. Exactly the same with Hamilton. There is a huge number of Speedway fans that just watch GP's and have nothing to do with the every day UK league racing. Again, exactly the same as F1 where nobody is interested in the single seater club championships. Absolutely identical when it comes to the UK. The fact that he races in Poland & Sweden is irrelevant to his British supporters, it's all about him and his drive for World Championship glory There are also plenty who don't like Hamilton due to him deciding to wrap himself in the Union Jack while choosing to pay the UK no tax by living in Switzerland

All talk so far Bomber has helped lots for young riders and continues to help them, he is the real true Brit. You keep building tai up as the greatest British sportsman because outside of speedway fans nobody would know who he was which says it all. You keep building tai up as the greatest British sportsman because outside of speedway fans nobody would know who he was which says it all. Outside of speedway nobody knows who Bomber, Crump, Rickardsson,Adams or Nicki P are So you're point? I take it you have one? ? Bomber has signed 3 young riders to team Harris and he gets cheap labour from them on match days. I'm sure that's a great help. Not. Young riders aspire to be the best, the world champion. They don't aspire to be someone who struggles in the GP's. At least we have a superb role model who would get all the GP boys back in the EL if they listened to his wise words, so it's the governing bodies fault Tai doesn't ride here and shame on them allowing our top flight to be so low down the pecking order in Europe. ColinMills
yeah, whilst I see your point steve, british clubs are in no state to bring the GP boys back, id say only 3 at most could afford such riders
