stevebrum
it would have been a lot less trouble if someone had say "NO" 14 pages ago and we'd all left it there I tried - post
Alan_Jones
I could think of other reasons not to like him. Tbh I don't blame him for going down the British route. It is faster to get into GPs when you're relying on a pick than being an Aussie. Makes sense. It must have been a very difficult decision "going down the British route" for a British citizen too young to even contemplate applying for Australian citizenship.
Gavan
Cute coming from an so called Ipswich fan, where the racing is boring and the track is a mile away from the fans with no atmosphere whatsoever...how many times you ever been to Ipswich then? I agree ours isn't the best track in the league not by a long shot so yet again I have no idea what your rabbiting on about pal. If you actually had half a brain you would have realised that i wasn't talking about Pooles track but actually saying the elite league in general is boring but being the thick idiot you are I wouldn't have expected you to have understood. So who is likely to win the Elite League then? Poole and maybe Belle Vue. Who is likely to win the Premier? Workington, Glasgow, Sheffield , Edinburgh, Peterborough? Who knows but it will be a hell of a lot more exciting than the elite league
orion
It must have been hard for him getting in the gp's if he was an Aussie what with no Crump, no Adams and all those other wonderful Aussie riders i can think of like..............................erm..............................no cant think of anyone. Lets be honest when Tai was to join the GP there was only Holder as Tai was ahead of Ward back then so wouldnt have any issues getting in to the gp as an Aussie. I may be wrong but i think the fact he was born in the UK to British parents made him want to be British. Be all means you dont have to like him but stop banging the nationality drum as its quite boring now The bottom line if not being British it would taking longer to get in the Gp there is no doubt about that .. Being British and getting that wild card has pushed him miles forward much quicker ...that is fact if you like him or not .

No, that is an opinion on your part, an opinion that has merit, but can't be proved. Whereas what IS fact is Woffinden is British. As such the argument ends right there. Whether you like him or not is another matter.

SteveLyric2
The official statement says 'he wants to help a new generation of young British riders realise their dream'. Lets hope their dream isn't to appear in the British Final then!! :-) ;-)

hyderd
These other big names that you speak of . learned their craft elsewhere .they owe us nothing . unlike Woffinden . you and I can to and fro forever and it wont change my mind one bit , can't imagine it will change yours either . so I'm happy to leave it at that . because the constant debate only creates opportunities for my personal troll to cut and paste his rants about zenophobia ,racism . and his constant personal slurs on my son . so i will trot off and amuse myself on another thread . until the vile creature turns up there My final post on the subject. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.30347

chris4gillian
Actions speak louder than words, how come he sings the Aussie national anthem but not our one then?? Bearing in mind he spent quite a few early years over there it's probably second nature to him. It does NOT make him Australian though
