Coventry V Poole El Friday 22nd April 2016

Recommended Posts

One of those days when there is rain about but I have to make the trip regardless as I have a delivery to make in Burton on Trent. Leave a couple of hours earlier, then the item is delivered safely and then onto the speedway. Hope the rain in the south west doesn't push up too far. Showers in the Coventry area around 4 pm.

Hoping for a Poole win but 32-58 is never going to happen. Going to be a close meeting.

heard yesterday that Watt has been dismissed with BP back in the fold...?

Can't see that happening. Can't see Bjarne doing better.

Only says it cos when they win, she'll go on about how amazing Coventry were against all the odds!! Lol.

Having read the article in the Echo about Matt wanting fixture changed two months ago, hope Fred gets a max!

I think Matt is being pretty truthful there. As far as the Leicester City match is concerned Leicester are not going to compete with hopefully Leicester picking up the PL title that day, so its a very good decision. Although i suspect you will crab anything Matt says..

Totally with Matt Ford on this one. STOP RUNNING MEETINGS WITH RIDERS MISSING!

Mind you, shame Matt Ford didn't care about a rider being missing for Coventry vs BV in August 2011, isn't it?

Whats Coventry V BV got to do with us. That is for your promotion to sort out, not Matt.

Seriously, how many times do you have to be told about him signing Kildemand by text. And not letting him in Coventry redeclaration.

Why agree to the date in the first place? It was known before the fixture list was published. Don't arrange fixtures when riders are missing, simple. I dont think any other club would cancel with the opposition number 1 missing either including Matt Ford. The home side will always look after themselves in this situation and have every right to carry on the meeting as agreed. Blame the fixture planning which all the promoters are involved in.

If you read the article, it wasn't known! Torun put the fixture in after the UK ones had been done.

Edit- Brady has flu and won't be there tonight :(

Yes your right I've got the months between them the wrong way round. I don't understand why Holder isn't riding for Poole then. Surely as the Torun fixture is rearranged he rides for Poole that how it usually is isn't it? Its how it work with MJJ when he decided to ride in a rearranged meeting in Sweden instead of riding for Coventry so Coventry sacked him. He was instructed to ride for Cov even though he rode for his Swedish club longer.

Sounds right to me.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me 👍 😂 Edited by woz01

Well supposedly it's cos of the riding for Torun longer with no breaks unlike with us. Sounds like Poland just find any old rule to put them first!!
